Cal seems like a rough job with USC, Washington and even Stanford all being good go great at the same time. Throw in UCLA and the recruiting pickings must be slim.
They should get what they can from California then focus on Texas/entire Southwest.Cal seems like a rough job with USC, Washington and even Stanford all being good go great at the same time. Throw in UCLA and the recruiting pickings must be slim.
$9.95 says it's Wilcox at Cal and apparently they're taking someone from UW's staff with them.
I hear Tosh may be his DC
@ralphamsden: CBS has submitted a $9.5 million baseline offer for Scout Media. Auction is 1/27, if no one else bids, then Scout and 24/7 could merge.

Ian Boyd has an interesting article up about the return of the fullback. It's really the usage of H-backs as a lead blocker primarily.
I think they're still trying to pay off their stadium remodel.Didn't realize Cal was losing so much money in athletics. I guess they really do think a new coach may be able to raise more money. Because they're hemorrhaging it now and also have to pay Dykes' buyout now.
Holy shit, Mario Cristobal to Oregon. Never thought he was a great coach, but damn, could he recruit. That's gonna sting.
Yeah, good recruiter, meh OL coach. Hopefully Saban can pick up a decent recruiter who can coach better. Been disappointed in the OL as long as Cristobal has been there.

Hey, our LS just graduated, and was basically a 5 star at the LS position out of high school (a 3 star)
Don't think he had a single bad snap in his 4 year career, and the only punt block was a finger tip against Clemson in his last game, which is on the punter, if anything. Basically a perfect career for his position.
Exactly what I thought of‪I see the cowboys are using Urbans gameplan from 2015 Michigan st ‬
Just a bit of a surprise, since I hadn't heard ANY chatter that Battle was stepping down.Alabama is hiring Arizona's athletic director.
Did we decide on an offseason subtitle?

Never even realized that Alabama lost it's 2nd consecutive kicker prospect. Ruiz decommitted and committed to Arizona State in the last 2 days.
Are we now in that phase were CFB fans have to focus creepily on 17-18 yo kids hoping they come to their program as Jesus and Savior?
Yeah does FSU have their calendar out yet?Time to post some shirtless pics y'all!
That and he had cancer.Probably was no longer able to live up to Saban's standards.

Usually it's decided by whoever won the bowl pick 'em. So who's our lucky winner?
Thought the reports I read said that wasn't the reason. That he just wanted to retire and be able to enjoy life basically. Can't fault him for that, especially while undergoing cancer treatment. That and he had cancer.
Probably was no longer able to live up to Saban's standards.
Do you think that the reason Alabama's vaunted best defense in cbf history by regular season statistics was actually a result of sec quarterback play actually just being complete crap. Its something I've heard around the media. I think Alabama's defence is pretty amazing but I do think they were hurt in the championship game by constantly facing mediocre qbs during the regular season.
Adoree' Jackson entering the draft.
Hey cdy, was Sarrell going to Stanford a big blow to UW, or was he always a lean somewhere else?

75 years old, and wanted his role as AD to be an interim at the beginning, but signed on for the 4 years with no plans to continue after.
