Just got back home from Oklahoma. Gotta say OU fans couldn't have been nicer, really first class. They thought they were gonna roll and seemed genuinely stunned we beat them but were classy in defeat. If I was screaming like I was on Sat at Michigan I would have probably gotten stabbed. Really welcoming fans.

This post is full of lies.

OU fans are nothing like this.

Who the fuck is this guy? I don't have a problem with OU hate, but you can't just jump on the hate bandwagon as soon as they lose a big game.

The weird thing is that guy is a Houston Rockets fan. At least I think he is, he is the guy who used to have the avatar of that Rockets player right?

I can vouch for Gondo being a huge Rockets fan, mostly because he hates flopping and free throws.

I'm trying to wear my Jeremy Lamb: Future Superstar avatar with dignity, and everyone here is throwing tomatoes at me.

Look into the eyes of Lamb. Eyes of a cold-blooded killer.

Two firsts, K-Mart, and Lamb for Thrillsap

...

I miss James :(

SCar's ranking is absurd but everything will correct itself in time. Without Lattimore, I can't see them beating Clemson.. although Clowney may be good enough to do it on his own.

SCar is ranked 8th, but imagine my glee as I realized blue has to type about the undefeated Big East team :p

Louisville was certainly one of the big beneficiaries of all the losses this past weekend I will grant them that. I figured they'd get snubbed to 11th or 12th.

I still get points for predicting the Gamecocks in the top 10.

Alabama's sitting pretty at the moment, so I don't care what ND does.

If Alabama loses before the bowl season, doesn't really matter anymore.

ND is irrelevant to my point of view.

K-State's lead over Oregon and ND is fairly significant as well. It will be pretty hard for either team to jump K-State if they win out. No worries though, Texas is going to beat K-State this year. Yeah sure K-State has beat us the last 100 times even though we usually have the better team, but now that we clearly have a worse team than K-State, that means the Longhorns will get the victory! It's how the universe evens itself out.

One of the comments on the countdown show made me think about how Boise could get screwed again, as they're unlikely to make the top 12. Louisville is messing up their chance of finishing higher than the BEast champ (always a likely scenario), but then I realized that they're already ahead of the highest ranked Big10 team, with no guarantee that Nebraska will actually be the champion. Plus, as Cincy and Rutgers showed us this week, one loss by a BEast team is enough to drop them completely from the top 25.

I think if they finish ahead of a AQ champ and they win the MWC, they just need to be in the top 16. That is likely if the Big 10 keeps derping it up or if UL loses at least one of their games.

And winning the MWC plus being in the top 12 will get them a bid regardless I think.

Yep.
Top 12 + Highest Ranked Non-AQ = Bid.
Top 16 + Highest Ranked Non-AQ + Ahead of an AQ Champ = Bid.

Lattimore hasn't really been the huge factor this season

We've won mostly through good defense and when Shaw is playing well enough. Not to say he won't be missed but Kenny Miles and Mike Davis look capable at RB

Yeah, running back can be a funny position like that. 50% of their production (pulling that out of my ass, but you get the idea) can be attributed to their o-line and indeed all 10 of the other guys. Ask Barry Sanders about his pro career.

oh yeah, forgot to mention the Maryland thing earlier, distracted by Walking Dead.

So, going with a Linebacker at QB now. That's gotta be an entirely different kind of quarterbacking, altogether.

also, really hope that the Lattimore news is completely accurate, and it wasn't as bad as it looked. Cause it looked completely miserable.

Just think, they hired Randy Edsall instead of Leach. Leach might be doing well right now, but at least he isn't embarrassing.
