Pretty tame week compared to last. Shipping List.

POWERS #8
ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #7

Also, the EX MACHINA TP is available now. If you haven't been keeping up with this book, grab it this week!

BLADE OF THE IMMORTAL #97
GREEN LANTERN ARCHIVES VOL 5 HC
PLASTIC MAN #14
TEEN TITANS #20
TERRA OBSCURA VOL 2 #5 (OF 6)

Also, not buying, but:

I own these already, but I have fond memories of them. Consider picking this one up. Ought to have the original Carrion story in it.

Nothing too exciting:

Birds of Prey #78
Terra Obscura Vol. 2 #5 (of 6)
Wonder Woman #212
Powers Vol. 2 #8
Ultimate Spider-Man #71

It's like a week was set aside to release competant if unexciting comics. I'm glad for the light week, however, as I haven't been to the shop in a while. Ignatz, glad to see I'm not the only one sticking with Terra Obscura.

Holy shit! Wanted #6!

Hmm, what else.

DAREDEVIL #69
POWERS #8

I'm quite excited for that Wanted. Why, I may even hit the shop early just to gurantee my copy.

Good thing it's a light week.... I'm about 2-3 weeks behind and need to pick up my usual stuff plus some new titles.

Damn I'm going to drop about $35 at the shop.... Damn Marvel and their new cardstock covers that force the cost up to $3.50 a book.... bastards.

Oh and just because RIP Dreamwave... I enjoyed Transformers while it lasted.

EDIT: Almost forgot... Wanted #6. ABOUT FUCKING TIME! Only about 3 months late....

HUMAN TARGET #18
TEEN TITANS #20
WANTED #6 (Of 6)
DAREDEVIL #69

Human Target just got cancelled because nobody was reading it. Fuck.

Also, for those who have been asking, Milligan's X-Men run starts this week in X-Men #166. I might check it out, but I honestly doubt it could even compare to Whedon's Astonishing...

Fnord:

Terra Obscura and Plastic Man are both on that dangerous list of "I haven't rtead the last several issues (in TO's case, anything past the first two of the first series) but I think I'll likeit when I get around to it. Sometimes, those never get read. OTOH, thanks to Bittorrent, I finally read all the Smax issues after having not read, then misplaced them. And it was great. I may end up doing the same thing with this.

Ditto also Promethea. Something about Moore's comics that makes me put off reading them, losing them in the stacks, and redisovering them ages afterwards.

Oh, and I am grateful for the light week-- otehrwise I'd put off buying the GL Archive for months.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've got an entire run of Astro Boy, large portions of which are like that.

Smax was fantastic. Terra Obscura isn't fantastic, but it is solid entertainment in that "Moore isn't entirely involved and it really shows" sort of way.

Ditto also Promethea. Something about Moore's comics that makes me put off reading them, losing them in the stacks, and redisovering them ages afterwards.

After wandering around in the desert for ages, Promethea really picked up and looks to have a great final issue...whenever they manage to get it out the door. However, up through the penultimate issue it was well worth the effort.

Meanwhile, I second the recommendation for the Ex Machina trade. If you haven't been reading the title, trust me, it's terrific stuff. Y fans take note: this is defiantely worth your hard earned.

FnordChan, hoping Madrox gets a trade before long

Usually depends on who is involved. Isn't this Steve Moore?

When it's Vietch it's almost always worht reading, if bizarre. I loved the Greyshirt mini.

Not bad, really can't wait to read Wanted, although I've forgotten a bit of what has already transpired.

Daredevil has been a decent read thus far. Can't wait.

MANHUNTER #6 *more identity crisis tie-ins.*

TEEN TITANS #20 *even more identity crisis tie-ins*

Last week was already pretty tame....

ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #71
WOLVERINE #24

This week isn't tame. It's dead. Except for Invincible. Everyone read Invincible.

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #636 - The idea that Bruce was brainwashed really grates on me... the idea that Superman knowingly ignored some goings on in the JLA is interesting... I'd like to see that examined more...
BATMAN GOTHAM KNIGHTS #61
BIRDS OF PREY #78
SPACE GHOST #3 - CRAP I missed #2.. <sigh> That means I have to ask my store to track it down and I can't read this til I get 2... grrrrr
TEEN TITANS #20 - Don't know how long I'll last but the current storyline brought me back to TT....I don't remember Luthor's armor being anywhere in IC... last I saw it Luther was getting stomped in the Bat Supes book.. what did I miss... and what is Luthor's status these days?
WONDER WOMAN #212 - Don't know how long I'll last but the current storyline brought me in to WW...
WANTED #6 - Lord I hope I didn't miss a book in this one... last thing I remember in the last thing I read was that the main character's father showed up at the end of the book.... was that #5?
CABLE DEADPOOL #11 - I know I missed 10 in this series... not sure that I care or how long this book'll last with me...
WOLVERINE #24 - I absolutely HATE this current storyline... well maybe not hate... but pretty close.... plus this art sucks, but in a way hard to describe....
WOLVERINE THE END #6 - BWAHAHAHAH I have no idea why I'm reading this....
X-MEN #166

I believe you are correct

so apparently, superman found out that dr. light was mind-wiped but didnt interfere. batman still doesnt know. i think superman knows that bats was mind-wiped.

wonder woman gets all high and mighty and says they should have killed dr. light. up yours lady. lex luthor is the man who hired superman's latest rouge to target superman's friends and family. in teen titans, luthor was the one who hired bolt in identity crisis to get the suit of armor back. and it's back in his possesion now. interesting tidings going across the DCU
