I just picked up three more books; JLD vol. 2, Marvel NOW Secret Avengers vol. 1, and The Sandman vol. 1.
But he's also going to be writing
The writing or story might be shit though.
Well i'll be buying #1 at least just because that crew...YO--Marco Rudy is on art for Kot's Bucky solo? That's fucking exciting.
How do you choose to buy comics?
For me, I look up as much info about it before I decide to order anything so I know it's something that I will really enjoy.
Having a backlog of comics seems so foreign to me.
Speaking of buying, I've got my eye on 3 things on eBay. Hopefully those don't get bid up too much.
Have you heard the good word of Superior Foes of Spider-Man?- Specific recommendations

I don't know much about Deathstroke.. but with Tony Daniels doing the art it really has me interested.

Kate x!Noctura!!!
I don't even mind the Kate and Maggie stuff. It's a clever way for them to renege on the whole marriage thing without resorting to like, ruining the potential of the relationship. I just didn't expect them to actually go the route that they did. Comics being what they are and everything being reversible, in the end, I say why the fuck not.
I'm split on companies being terrible on purpose to drive hype. If it's an announcement, is it a spoiler? Or is it news? If Marvel posts something about the ending to a book that releases the next day, i don't think it's proper to further spread that.
so whats the hype around futures end? im guessing its something harley quinn based?

So, quick question, been a lurker for awhile and trying to get back into comics. I'm a college student so I have the budget to collect some comics but I don't really know where to start again, I've mostly been on or off these past couple of years. I've decided to make a comixology account and stay mostly digital since it's more convenient. can anyone recommend some on-goings? I've always been a big DC guy but hey, I love Marvel and indies too. Any suggestions?
Maybe it's about her and Joker getting married in her futures end issue next month. Is she even in futures end yet? I'm not reading it.
After all the Nocenti Catwoman you paid actual money for, there's no way you pass on something with Harley in it. You are the #1 Harley Quinn über fan.
what spoiler is in the story? doesn't say what happens to nick fury.
also the art is incredible
Long live Nick Fury Jr amirite guys

Just finished reading Lemire's Underwater Welder. I didn't enjoy it as much as the first volume of Essex County that I read, but I am glad I read it.
It seemed a little over-ambitious maybe. Or possibly under-ambitious... The concepts were all pretty solid, but it somehow missed the mark. I think I was hoping it would end up with more depth than it actually had. With that said, it was still a really nice story with really nice art and I'll definitely try to read more Lemire in the future.

I generally prefer to buy omnibus / oversize / collected editions over trade paperback, if there's an option.
Tell us how Lost at Sea is. I really didn't like Seconds, so I'm wondering if Bryan Lee O'Malley's first effort was decent.
I felt very similar about Underwater Welder. You should pick up Trillium - while it's not necessarily hugely deep, I think it probably tells a better story in the course of a single volume in that you don't feel the lack of depth in the same way (if that makes sense!). Of course it's also a nice story with nice art
Source (CBR)CBR: Finally, HouseFrost asks, "With 'Avengers Undercover' ending soon, the younger heroes on the Avengers side of the Marvel U will soon be without a title. Is there any chance of a 'Young Avengers' revival, or another 'Avengers Academy' run?
Alonso: We do have something along these lines planned for the future, though it won't quite be either "Young Avengers" or "Avengers Academy." But it won't be happening until after the reb --
I've said too much.
If Marvel cancel Black Widow I think I will be completely lost. I just love this book.
Ooh, shiny.

If you don't want to bother:X-Force killed the child Apocalypse, triggering latent programming within Warren to become Apocalypse's successor. Some bad stuff happened including the extermination of an entire town, and X-Force had to put Warren down before he fulfilled his destiny and ended mankind.
I got a book used from a store on Amazon, and lets just say that book has seen some shit.
The book was Catwoman - Catwoman Dies. For those who care.
I have to vomit
