That is all kinds of heartbreaking to me. Also late in batgirl
batgirl needs to go undercover with strix but strix has never been allowed to have other clothes by the court. She take her to her closet and let's her pick clothes. Strix picks a bright pink prom dress and won't put it back so Babs lets her keep it.

Oh man, #3 takes an amazing turn. Read it. It's so random but fun.
But yeah, Night of Owls happens between those issues. You'd have to read the Batman issues to find out what happens, but honestly, it's not worth it if you're not planning on reading Batman. Batfamily tie-ins are typically the worst shoe-horned nonsense. It ends up fragmenting what would otherwise be somewhat decent runs like Batgirl.

As for Batman... Snyder and Capullo's run is really off the charts good. Most people usually start there. The first two trades will cover the Court of Owls arc, but Death of the Family, the third one, is just a sublime piece of storytelling.

Yeah they're pretty nice. I see the MvC and Soejima (English) ones are both out of print too, so I'm glad I got those when I did.
I had two artists sign and sketch my Street Fighter Tribute when I got it. One of them was the guy who did the Teen Titans Go variant covers I believe.
It broke playing an anime fighting game earlier in the year. So I had to swap it out with a new one and I forgot I had it on that shelf until today :/
Yeah not only did that event completely lose momentum but I've barely been reading anything lately. Stupid summer making me actually work at work.
I read 1 issue of this week's update, Surfer. I'm so behind on recent issues, like 3 weeks worth or more.

Yeah, Street Fighter Tribute is probably my favorite of the Udon books aside from the Okami one. But Darkstalkers Tribute is super-rad as well. I've been meaning to order the Asura's Wrath book for ages.

Remembered that i'd never read Secret Warriors, and being a sucker for almost all things Nick Fury, started to have a gander.

Picked up the Gail Simone Secret Six run omnibus.
Team consists of Bane, Scandal Savage, Catman, Deadshot, and I think Ragdoll and I forget who the last one is. Super jacked to read that.
It saddens me that I have Fables volume 9, and have no urge to read it. Fables used to get me so jacked and I liked it so much, but I've been on such a cape tear that I can't help it. I just don't want to read it really.

Just read the newest Secret Six. Great fun, the team is now established and Gail is getting to have some fun with them. The setting is quite absurd right now. I think the last two issues were switched due to delays. But it makes sense when you read both. I am growing to like some of the characters that are new to me.

Alright gketter, just read today's Deathstroke issue which is number 8. This arc started off with issue 7 and the preview before that. The introduction to the story is Hephaestus has contacted Slade Wilson to kill a God names Lapetus. Slade is like yeah right, I'm a mortal, how am I going to kill a God? He forged a weapon that can get the job done. Tells him to go to Paradise Island and he will find who he is looking for. Thus begins the journey. I have liked it a bunch so far. Tony Daniel has a co-writer working with him and it's not bad. Daniels visuals have been amazing and has drawn some of the best action sequences I have seen in a comic book. First arc before this was 6-8 material (enjoyable and above average) and since the co-writer has come along, had made it 7-9 material.

I have a friend who read it and loved it. Apparently it's a really good Bane story as well, which I didn't think existed out of Knightfall and attempts to ape that story arc in media (The Batman, Batman The Animated Series, The Dark Knight Rises, etc.).
Every arc outside of that always seems to make Bane either a drug kingpin or a mercenary obsessed with killing Batman. Granted he technically is both before and during Knightfall, but my point is that I never hear about anything interesting involving him after that. Though if I recall, wasn't there an arc in the comics where he accepted Ra's offer to become successor to the League of Assassins? I never read that, but that always sounded like a good thing to do with him.
Who? Don't matter. I forgot most of these guys existed until this.
Loved reading this post. It was definitely going in my next IST before, and it's still going in my next IST order.

I was surprised by how much I liked Star-Lord and Kitty Pryde. I haven't thought all that much of Humpries on the solo book before, but this was nice.
I'm a little surprised that they used 616 Star Lord. Drax with hair forever, though.
At least until all Collections are avaiable
