I'm currently at 44 pulls. I'd like to get the list down to as close to 30 as possible. I know I should probably drop stuff like Katana and Vibe because they are destined to be canceled, but I almost want to keep getting them so I can have the "full miniseries" as it were. Next on the maybe list would be Constantine and not getting Pandora. Basically, I think I should shore up around Batman, Superman and Green Lantern and a few of the satellite series... which is part of the reason some of these other niche titles are getting canceled.

Be brutal. I know I'm a piss-taker but you are buying so much stuff that is just really mediocre. Is 'just ok' really good enough for three dollars a pop? I've cut back significantly over the alst year and I don't miss any of the dreck I bought out of compulsion, and I love the 5 or so books I get each week.

Oh yeah, that's hard to do. Just try not to regret or look back, even if everyone in this thread is talking about how awesome a title is!
I'm at about 18 books and I just had to cut Animal Man, Aquaman, and The Flash. Aquaman hurt the most but I wanted to make room for more weird, off-beat titles like Mara, The Wake, and the upcoming Trillium.

I also sent in my list for DC's Villain's Month books. I was worried their system would add EVERY one shot for all the titles on my list, so I just picked the ones that sounded good.
Some I'm looking forward to:
GREEN LANTERN #23.3: BLACK HAND
JUSTICE LEAGUE #23.1: DARKSEID
SUPERMAN #23.4: PARASITE
WONDER WOMAN #23.2 FIRST BORN

Someone hasn't read Suicide Squad since Ales Kot took over two months ago.

agh, bi-monthly for Sandman? Means it'll be forever till the trade comes out. I read all of Sandman in trades, it would feel to weird to read it as floppies. Even beautiful floppies like these will be. All those series sound pretty neat though, will buy (in trade).

Lots of great independent titles you could read instead of stuff like Katana.
