Suckers, I paid my taxes last year!
"I put the tax forms on top of your to-do pile a month ago!"
"I have a to do pile?"

Has Drax gone to look for Cammi lately, now that the GotG are stuck on Earth?
Have trade waiters gone too far?Uh, this can't be an april fools or anything right? Sounds savage.
PAD is in major financial trouble?

It's got me debating selling my deadly class vol 1-4 trades and rebuying and continuing digital. That Image sale is kinda lame because it doesn't include books that released in 2017.

If you do that don't buy the trades because they cost quite a bit more even though they are sale. Image either doesn't pay attention when they price digital trades or think fans are dumb. It's got me debating selling my deadly class vol 1-4 trades and rebuying and continuing digital.
I'm getting dangerously close. Too close.Join the digital future
If he can't get all the money, won't the IRS just take all the donations anyway along with everything he has?
Marvel: retailers and readers turning their nose up at their more diverse titles
Hey, at least they can finally say DC's returnability wasn't the only issue with the industry.
Retailers, podcasters, journalists, artists and other writers are ripping this to pieces on twitter btw.

says something about the state of comics that the piece ends on
Messi's boycott worked.

So it looks like Marvel will be keeping the free issue thing along with the digital version of the book you bought.
Thanos #5
HOLY SHIT at that last page reveal
Oof. If anything, I think this just reaffirms that Marvel misunderstands the demand for diversity in today's industry. Characters like Ms. Marvel and Jaime Reyes Blue Beetle (who should be a case study in how to diversify your comics) were successes because the stories with the characters were great too.
Stuff like America Chavez, Mosaic, Red Wolf, Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider, and Occupy Avengers are ideas worth trying but Marvel really needs to do better at executing this stuff. "America #1" was one of the worst issues of any big two comic I've read in years. Hell, I'm even starting to sour on Miles Morales because there isn't much story to chew on.and not "because Bendis" either
Didn't see that coming at all.
This comic is SO GOOD!
and Ghost Rider is SO BAD!

That America #1 was so divisive. You either loved it or hated it it seems.
People at Marvel don't seem to know the internet exist, which explains why they don't market their diverse books to the people who clamor about them everywhere, and why they lament not being able to find artists because Wizard Magazine doesn't exist anymore.
Don't worry, the book was cancelled and had it's last issue removed.
The issue isn't finding artist, it's that they aren't as big of a pull anymore in today's market in comparison to the writers.
There's a lot I could comment on there but artists don't sell books when you don't provide an environment where artists will be on a book for more than a few issues.
Had a #6 solicited and art done but it won't be released because it was the start of a new arc.I read the most recent issue (really slow day) and it was just...atrocious. I have no idea how that book got greenlit in the first place.
Clearly it's over (it flat out says as much) but what do you mean by "last issue removed"

That's a problem with the non-indie part of the industry and it's too late to address it now.
It's never too late. At this rate the industry will be dead before 2025. Pre-order system needs to be massively changed, Diamond needs to change and a bunch of other things need to happen but there are some things Marvel can actually do.issue #6, which was supposed to start the second trade was solicited, but Marvel cancelled it.

I brought up Marvel because they are the ones saying artists don't matter if the book come out on time.Diamond is never going to change and I wouldn't say it's just a Marvel issue so DC would have to fix some things as well for a change to happen. I don't know what they would be able to do to change perception from customers though.

From the few pages I saw it seemed like the worst 'look how fucking cool this character is' shite that I have seen since the last time Marvel was trying to convince me Captain Marvel was cool.
It almost seemed like self parody. But the dialogue was so completely unfunny I think it was just badly written.
