Command & Conquer: The First Decade released!

If you can play the old games (C&C1 and Red Alert1) in windowed mode, then I'll buy this. Otherwise, I'll stick to playing the originals in a virtual pc.
 
To those of you who have the game, are the hidden campaigns included with C&C1 and RA1 (the Dinosaur and Giant Ant missions?).

God I loved C&C back in the day. This is a very tempting package, especially since I never bothered with Renegade and Generals (because I doubted either would live up to the series standards).

Or giving the Spys(with the Sean Connery voice no doubt) silenced pistols. I always wondered why there was a flash animation for the spys to shoot a gun but the final version didn't allow for use. "Commanda?... For King & Country!"

Editing the ini file for Einstein to shoot tesla zaps from his hands was great too. Made him like the Emperor from Return of the Jedi. "Incredible!"

I had only tried the old RA2 RULES.INI with RA2 in Decade and it works.

edit: Rules.ini for RA also works.

Me too :D Everything seemed to be fucked up as people said that the FMVs aren't included. Then this thing with the lower resolutions (it would've really looked like ass on my 1280*1024 TFT).
Now all I need is a patch in the next two weeks (at most) for RA :D

@KilledBybill Where the Dinosaurs in the expansion pack of C&C1 (I have never played that ..., well atleast till Friday or Saturday when my C&C: TFD arrives :D)? And how do you activate these?
 
God damn, this is like the 4th rewrite of my reply as the thread continues to contradict itself. If this has the Gold version of C&C and allows me to get rid of all the separate CDs for all the C&C games, and EA release patches for the shit they left in the final release...then this is mine. BTW, does this pack include the secret missions?

C&C is now dead, thanks to EA (just like they've managed to fatally wound the Burnout series. Why buy a successful series only to fuck with the successful formula?), but at least this is a fitting memorial to the classic originals. RIP C&C
 
Jeezus, just watched the red alert 1 intro again. The music (hell march!!), the presentation, the awesome CG (for its time). I feel like i'm 12 again, starting the game for the first time and getting blown away.

Best intro of all time? Affirmative (nostalgia FTW!)
 
I today got the mine, but I have a few problems. C&C 1 (black screen *biep*, 'Application error' ...) and C&C Tiberian Sun (it doesn't recognize the DVD although it works for the other games) don't work. Crap, is there any patch or a faq or sth. like that available? I'm running W2K with SP4 (and please don't tell me that it only works with WXP, Red Alert works 100%).

I picked this up yesterday, figured the cutscene problems were not too bad, and that the patch would come soon enough anyway. I've only installed C&C1 so far, and I've got exactly the same problem.

 
Is there any cheats for Command & Conquer? Im stuck on the 9th GDI mission cause I need to kill this stupid single turret that's on the other side of the level, but I cant kill it cause there's a river around it and air strikes cant kill it cuase it keeps repairing itself...

nm, i did like 200 air strikes until the enemy ran out of money to repair, lol. took over 10 hours of game time

Does anyone know if I can "trick" CC to send me the game to germany? Like selecting Armed Forces Europe and then simply entering my own adress? Or will I get shot by commados? :/

Why would you do that? The game's €30 or less in most shops I've seen here in Belgium and Holland. I'm sure you can find it at that price in Germany too.
