Computer Games creating new Medical Problems: "Playstation Thumb"

Luckily PSP isn't selling in huge volumes, otherwise the thumb hospitals of the world would be out of beds really soon.

I recall one of the Boston Celtics being placed on the injured list in 1992-93 with "Nintendonitis" or something similar.

I have a slight (early?) version of this in my left thumb. It goes through periods of both tingling and numbness. So far it hasn't been severe enough to affect what I do, but it's definitely there.

She said she herself did not own a PlayStation because they were a "waste of time".

It only takes stupid videogame hate to have studies like this. I can have a stupid about injuries you get from using a door knob you know.

Edited (typo)

I think that's what he meant to say ^^;

Well, i mean, how come she make stats about injuries you get from playing a videogames?
If videogames doesn't interest me, i won't have a study related to it. She says that videogames are a waste of time. It's like she was trying to prove something wrong about videogames or something. "Hater" was a strong word maybe (i feel bad today - i may be more direct) but hell why is she doing this if videogames aren't interesting for her?

About my first post: yeah that was a typo (D is right under E)

this aint new. anyone remember when Pac Man came out on Atari?

Atari-itis/Pac-Man-itis been around for awhile now.

Doctors study injuries related to plenty of activities they aren't personally interested in. I don't understand your argument.

Caused by Sony's inferior dpad no doubt.

Isn't this the kinda thing you get from playing too much Street Fighter?
When playing 3rd Strike the tip of my left thumb kinda hurts, but not the thumb itself. Kind of weird.

This one was on free will i guess. It was for a class or something. It's not like it's her job to have a research on the subject. It looks like hatred, i can't tell if it's 100% fact of course. ;)
