Asrock has new PSU with extra Thermal sensor cable/connector for the GPU Power Cable. If it gets too hot it will instantly cut the power preventing any damage to the cables, GPU and the PSU. Nice feature, They are showing it at Computex 2025:

The video shows Asrock Booth Babes too behind the guy lol

I already bought these PSUs last month. I have a Taichi 1650T for my own rig and a Phantom Gaming 1600G for my wife. They're really nice PSUs, the cables and sleeving feel really good. The connectors are extremely soft and easy to connect and disconnect unlike the Corsair and Silverstone connectors I previously used that sliced my hands open trying to disconnect.

However, these ASRock connectors are so soft that I already experienced some material damage to my 12v-2x6 connector just from one mating cycle with my 5090. I need to contact ASRock about getting a replacement under warranty because it is unacceptable how easily the connector got damaged.

Also, wish I knew they had these 90 degree cables, I would have bought that instead of buying a Thermal Grizzly Wireview Pro. At least the new Wireview Pro 2 coming at the end of the year has per pin power sensing and will be worth buying to have far better protection of my card and PSU.
