So, if true for an early launch in NA, what does that mean for Revolution now? I seriously thought that they'd release PS3 in March of '06 in Japan first...then everywhere else afterward in the fall...like PS2.

Sony won't go over $300. They won't include extras like HDD (probably).

Sonys popularity in Japan should help them catch upto X360 sales befroe the launch of PS3 in NA. When that happens, MS and Nintendo will probably be in a tug oif war for second place like this gen.

Fine it doesn't specify it per se, but it does say that Sony usually launches in the holiday season, and then goes on to say that they're launching in Spring. Only on territory where they launch in the holidays for consoles, and that's NA.

Maybe I'm making a connection there that I shouldn't be, but that's how I see it.

Sony will probably 'conveniently' forget to mention if its JPN or US launch, to help people wait out the Xbox360 launch. Then in spring, point out its JPN only, and to wait just a bit longer for the US launch.

Wait, I have more earth shattering news! It is going to be more powerful rather than less powerful than we may or may not have previously thought.

I was talking about how it doesn't specifically say US launch but rather it confirms an earlier release date instead of the Summer '05 date (and later) many were predicting you HILARIOUS guy you!

Yeah, at least they give you a lot of storage options. I'll get a HDD down the line. But I'm going to buy a 1gig mem stick for my PSP and use my existing 256mb card for PS3 saves. Awesome
