I wanted to use the occasion to say thank you for your recommendation about Assassin Creed odyssey ! It was around the Microsoft show of May and I was planning to either wait for the next gen to buy games on console or buy stuff on Steam . Microsoft lackluster show made me realize that this generation still have a lot to give and i found myself wanting to play something on PS4 again after just finishing Death stranding .

You were right : Odyssey is big !

Odyssey is really overwhelmingly big, which makes it in my top best games of all time. The story was amazing, and I managed to get the best possible ending! Won't spoil it for you, just make sure to play the black/gold side missions as they're as dense as the main mission!

I do believe AC Valhalla will be much, much more refined and better as well if you read the whole article about it in the UK PS5 magazine, if not, I can search it for you.

More than 20 hours in, and I don't even know what you mean by black/gold side missions ... and that without talking about the DLC ! The game give you a standard menu, then add and add things progressively (mercenaries , the boat ...) which was a good surprise .
I just saw Pericles in Athens . And i stopped playing it to replay The last of us 1 before the sequel arrives .
What i have seen of Odyssey gave me great hopes for Valhalla especially with the new consoles SSD . I try to not get too much spoiled so I will wait for the game to launch to buy it.
But with Ratchet & Clank, Demon's Souls, Cyberpunk 2077 it will have to wait a little .

I think I played more than 400 hours on Odyssey with all DLC's! Better finish current gen games, to me it's too hard to look back after PS5.

I was soo close buying mavic zoom till they changed the law and make everyone pay a 1000 bucks for a pilot license .
Was planing to do a road trip from west to east and shoot some amazing fotage but i guess that dream is gone.
I will never pay that much for a freeking license

Well, you should pay here like 500 Omani Rials ($1,300) first year, then like 100 OMR every year ($260) to have like production license. Well, I say fuck it, just avoid the city and most policemen would give a blind eye. This is the DJI Phantom 4 Pro, I was going for Mavic 2 Pro but that does only 4K@30fps, both do JPG/RAW 20MP photography as well.




I made a mistake when photographing this one I didn't know that there was a raw mode. It was right after sunset, little light to play with and raw would've made a much more better image:

Waiting for the new Sony alphas to hit 4K@60fps or higher and hopefully 10-bit.

Which part of Oman is this!? I remember one of my friends from medical school visited Oman during the summer and praised it a lot!

Very good camera work too! Oman TV is something I remember fondly, especially.during the Ramadan programming back years ago.

It's the southern region, Dhofar, the coastal range of it :) If you ever step a foot here, you got your free tour guide available.

I just can't believe that a Gulf country would have Uncharted 4-esque landscapes and they look so serene :goog_love:

I'll take your offer when i migrate permanently back to the Middle East and visit Oman and Dhofar for the first time inshallah ✌

I could get the dji mini but thats only 1080p.

Will see what i will do.

And climb haha. Every time someone talks me into going up to the tea house in lake luise i pay a big price. Its 2 hours up hill. And then coming down is another cluster fuck.

You'll do some magic! I always suggest shooting at 4K@60fps, they you may produce it as 24fps or 18fps slowmotion with some program sorcery and it'll look like 60fps. Watch here, it was 1080p@24fps from my friend's drone, I made it look slightly like 60fps but you may notice some artifacts: Timestamped (Those videos all have English subtitles [CC] button)




You'll do magic around that area, just pack enough memory cards, good ones!

SubhanAllah, sinkholes in the middle of a land like that is something I didn't expect in the Gulf Region, let alone the greenery scenary since we are in the middle east so green landscapes are more difficult to grow in that region.

That makes Oman more unique in my eyes. I'm gonna check out your videos more and thanks so much for sharing this side of you to NeoGAF :messenger_heart:
