I thought Rare said the single player game was going to be the same in terms of content. Always wondered why Conker didn't have a Star Wars parody.

So when is this game's release? We've been hearing about it for a looong time, just like any Rare project. They just never seem to release anything. But aside from that, the game looks amazing, and I loved it on 64. I'd definetly pick it up. They better release this before Xbox 2 is shown though. They released it at the end of 64's lifespan and lost sales because of it. Same thing could happen here.

Re the Panther King:

Looks like that shot is from a sequence post-chestburster, or maybe he was Carbonited in anticipation of it. Maybe he'll be resurrected for a true fight later on in the plot in this one, always thought it was a bit of a shame you don't really fight him. I know Rare did it to be witty, but then they pulled the same exact trick in Star Fox Adventures with General Scales, so it'd be old hat to do it again in the remake.

This is random speculation, but it'd be cool if they were setting up a sequel. Switch things round a bit so that the Panther King is trapped like Hans Solo at the end and in the sequel it could open with a Star Wars parody. And then go onto the LotRs, Spider-Mans and Kill Bills etc.

Hopefully they set up some stuff for a sequel. I wonder if they changed the end at all; the original was pretty depressing.

I thought the same, the first picture is nearly a 1:1 copy of the Normandie map in Wolfenstein.

Yeah, as much as I'm excited for the multiplayer, because I played the hell out of it on N64, I'd love to see a sequel as far as single player. It was just too damn fun to play this game the first time. And like said, the possibilties. Kill Bill, Star Wars, Halo, Signs, LotR..
