So did you just post this to see if someone could make this program from 2005 better for you?
Yes, but not just for me. For everyone.

So this is your program, right? Why not be honest about it from the get go? "Can anyone help me improve my download accelerator program?" or something, instead of being somewhat deceitful in promoting a product you know isn't great and is severely outdated.
On a side note, it always weirds me out to see people like OP who are full members and can post threads but have like, ~50 posts because they joined GAF before "junior member" was even a thing.
I just looked at OP's profile and I'm kinda weirded out too. Maybe he tried posting this years ago but his Internet was so slow that this thread didn't show up until today.
Its not my program. I just put its source on GitHub and changed some minor things.

Should have gone with the ConnectFusion Posting Accelerator instead.
Did you have the license rights to do that?

It looks like you put it on SourceForge too, way back in at least 2010. Why such dedication to something that A. you (apparently) didn't create and B. has already been outclassed several times over by newer programs?
Will this help me download a car?

This is so weird. I totally entered this thread expecting some sort of GAF horror story about this program... and instead I entered...
...The Twilight Zone.
So you're saying he was hacked. This is the most OP has ever posted in almost 9 years of being a member.

That proves you aren't a robot hacker guy.I'm not hacked. I can post in other threads too if I feel like doing so.
The Google overlords have come for us.This is a Sponsored thread.
This is the strangest thread I've seen in years. Initially I was laughing at all of your responses and was going to post something saying as much but now it feels like we've entered an episode of The Outer Limits. So this guy has been a member here since 2005. Almost a decade ago. He has 69 posts to his name. And he just randomly advertises a program; a download accelerator no less which haven't been popular or even relevant since like 1998 for what reason exactly?
OP it's cool you're defending yourself in a calm and reasonable manner but it would even more graceful of you to just explain what's going on; something that to be honest you should have outlined clearly in your first post. Here's a question that should get us started. How precisely are you associated with this program?
If you're not associated with this program why are you promoting it?
1. I'm just an end user of it.
2. I'm promoting it because it deserves its chance at being made into something more since the developers abandoned it. All great download managers had to start as basic ones. So, this one could be also be great with the right guys working on it.
The point is, Download mangers are not a thing anymore. It does not need it's chance to be great, because it's mostly useless.
I had to use a download accelerator during my deployment since the Wi-Fi out there was so shitty (20-30 minutes for a 5mb file), so they do have limited use still.

Okay, maybe for the small % of people that still use dial-up, but for the most part it's not a thing.
This man speaks the truth. From what I remember when I was using dial-up and 56k modems in my teens (circa something like 1998 or so) the entire point of download managers and/or accelerators was the resume download function since dial-up connections at the time that used phone lines were notorious for losing their connections which would therefore result in downloads being lost. This is how they even became popular and necessary in the first place.
Then broadband and faster connections happened and they faded away.
Zero3K just wants someone to work on this outdated program. Why can't people understand?Even better, the OP is an exact copy of threads he made on at least three different forums back in 2010.
(And I'm not even going all DetectiveGAF or anything here. Those all popped up within the first few pages of a Google search for ConnectFusion.)
The dedication to an outdated download accelerator just seems bizarre.
