I would really hate having to buy from a pharmacist, for several reasons, but it's still nice to see another state with medical marijuana. I know a few people in a number of states who could really use it.

Why is that? If you want marijuana to be legalized for medical purposes, then you should be fine with it being treated like any other controlled drug.

I hate this medicinal marijuana stuff, just go for straight legalization. I hate half measures.

People brew their own beer. Fair point I guess, it just depends on how you perceive the drug. TBH if my own state required it I would comply. I've just gotten used to having complete control over my pain medication. It's very empowering for a person with a chronic illness...it would be hard to go back to my insurance company deciding how much I need.

edit: since I'm going out to lunch and can't sit around to debate this (though I'd love to), I should clarify that I'm arguing about a hypothetical scenario in which the federal government legalized marijuana and required dispensation from a pharmacy, which would of course involve insurance companies
