During the Xbox show they had multiple games presented as console launch exclusives. So these are games that are exclusive for the first few months after launch? Help me understand this.

i dont think i ever heard the word exclusive so many times in a conference - and the funny thing that 90% of those games arent even (real) exclusives

i actually like that label. int he past sony and ms were guilty as saying something was exclusive, when in reality it was just exclusive at launch.

Timed exclusives are just the absolute worst. Just no point (if it isn't a conscious decision by the developer/publisher for actual reasons).

Corporate doublespeak. They have Sea of Thieves, Forza and Crackdown as actual AAA exclusives plus Ori and Cuphead. Pretty weak.
