Didn't they kind of dismiss KZ though? Personally, I think KZ looks a bit more impressive outside of FPS. There are only a couple of decent screens which you can use to compare in this thread, but:

I still think BF4 looks pretty damn impressive, particularly high texture detail. High texture detail is such a gift to the console space, eventhough TLoU and Beyond were pretty awesome in this regard. To be honest, I think if we can have Wii U shots in this, we should make an exception for Beyond as well. It should be considered an honoury next gen game, considering it looks more impressive in screens than stuff like CoD I would say.

Do you mind my asking what you're using to record, the general file size, and at what bitrate? Genuinely interested in getting similar capture gear. Usually captures end up with pretty desaturated colors but your GIF looks like it captured the full range really well.

Really? So far, I've actually been more impressed with Battlefield 4 on the PS4 than Killzone: Shadow Fall to be honest. Both look great, but my preference probably has a lot to do with Battlefield's 60fps for the single-player. I haven't finished either of the campaigns yet though, so I'm withholding complete judgement until then.

The full sized image shouldn't have any compression and they also support PNG uploads if you'd prefer that.

As a PC gamer, that looks similar to what has been available here for a while, but I can see how someone who's a console exclusive game would blow their god damned load over this in comparison to last gens offerings.

I hope these 1080p AC IV shots aren't PS4....because they are not impressive imo. They don't look native 1080p either. There's a lack of sharpness, macro detail etc, then there's aliasing issues too. Lighting also looks quite flat, especially compared to games like KZ, Ryse, BF4, InFamous SS etc.

In terms of graphics it may end up being one of the most timeless games ever made. Even before the HD re-release it held up better than any game that I've personally played.

AC4 is confirmed to be 900P until the patch (unless that got released last night and I missed it). I haven't even fired up my PS4 copy yet but I agree that those shots aren't very flattering.
