Everything looks like a blurry mess after staring at shots of SS.
Fuck me, Infamous is unbelievable, best advert for next gen imo.
I think it shows the biggest leap compared to it's predecessors, more than NBA 2K14 compared to the PS3 version or Killzone:SF compared to Killzone 2 and 3 or Ryse compared to a good looking ultra linear game etc.
Infamous SS compared to the first and second looks like even more than a generation away, it's amazing and that what's making it the most impressive, it presents the biggest leap.

And it's only a few months post launch. Game is fantastic, the only thing bothering me currently is the Paper Trail stuff. I think it's really cool, but I can't get the device code to work on delsins phone and it's annoying.
I can't wait to see what we get further down the line.

I really love how this pic looks with the blue light on the road.
It still astonishes me that it's the best looking console game out AND it's open world. It blows me away, and it's one of the funnest games I've played in a long time.

I really like how good these console games are looking right out the gate. Excited to see year 2-3 in XB1 and PS4 games.

Opinions hey, I haven't had this much fun in an open world game for quite a long time. The fact that it looks amazing is some nice icing on the cake though.

I disagree with it being tedious and boring, that depends on personal taste.
But I'm glad someone finally agrees that it certainly is a small world. There are many narrow, restricted areas and it's definitely nowhere near as open as any of the recent GTA games.
It doesn't even seem as large or open as the original inFamous. Not taking away from it's graphical brilliance, just that it should stop getting praised for it's achievements in an open world.

I think if Sucker Punch had released these pre-release I honestly would have thought they were bullshots, lol.
I'm already dipping in for second playthrough. I mean what more should there be to do, I'm content being a hero and soon a villain and using powers all at this amazing fidelity. I can do without save the cat, and poker side quests for the false sense of more content. Paper trail has been interesting as well. My point, this is the best looking game I also had the pleasure of having fun while playing.
So there's real time of day after you finish the game?
I definitely agree with that , hell if a multiplatform linear corridor shooter doesn't look half as good as this in a year I'll be very disappointed.

Infamous, killzone, 2k14, and ryse are the only current gen console games that have the wow factor. Everything else can be considered previous gen.
it excites me to think these are first gen games too. I really cannot wait to see what the next few years bring.

Don't think so, we've come to a point that games are looking so good and have such an amazing IQ that even compared to a PIXAR cinema you can't consider them 'ugly', i don't think Infamous SS ever gonna be ugly, it's too damn crisp and beautiful

theres a moment in the game right before you get to your family villa (in the second to last level, i believe) that has you walking through a small garden and theres this statue of a faun - that shit looks DOPE. do you think you could get a screen of it, please?
