I'm going to add some rules to the op tonight. I'm thinking:
1. Maximum of 3 images per post. More is nice, but does tend to result in image spam, which can be problematic with 1080p images.
2. No double posting. You wanna post more images, wait until somebody else has.
3. Engine/rendering/art critique/opinion is fine, but platform moaning is not. Aka: Don't be an antagonistic dick.
4. No Homers.
One thing I'm noticing in Nintendo-made games on Wii U is that everything not front and center is incredibly out of focus. I assume that's done for the sake of performance. My Killzone screenshots, for example, are sharp and focused from front to back.
Why am I having the feeling that Knack is going to be like RARE's Kameo. That game looks great and it feels like it is being snowed under by games like Shadow Fall and that new Mario.
Random rock surface from Killzone 3 on PS3 - last gen.I disagree, for what it's worth.

using DOF, infact wiiU was the first console to use actual real DOF and not fake DOF of any kind
Nah, but for real. Playing this on a 5 inch OLED without the screenshot compression, it has perfect image quality and could definitely pass as a game playable on next-gen (current-gen now?) consoles. It looks SO GOOD.

Which game is this?
What do you mean by this, and do you have a source? If you're just going by your eye it really isn't true. Uncharted 3 uses a bokeh-like DOF with adjustable focal point just fine.
Tearaway (PS Vita)Which game is this?
I know that it wasent until directx10 that the actual use of DOF was implemented, atleast in consoles anyways. If uncharted was able to achieve that, than it truly is a beast
Tearaway (Vita)
Looks really nice, even compared to console games in this thread!
Tearaway (PS Vita)
That looks really flat and bland. Just goes to show how much of the new oomph comes from lighting. It's the same with Forza 5. In some places it looks absolutely stunning, but with overcast skies the game looks rather bland and unimpressive.
So what do people consider here currently the best looking game for the Xbox one or PS4?

Thanks guys.Gosh damn, gamingeek! Those are easily the best user screen-grabs of NFS:MWU that I've ever seen, period.
The little console that could! It's too bad most devs consider it too weak, and therefore don't take advantage of its unique architecture and treat it as the capable machine that it is. God bless Criterion! I'm expecting Fast Racing Neo, from Shin'en, and Project Cars(with one of the NFS:MWU coders on board) to be another good example of what Wii U is capable of.
Once again, geat work, my dude!
While that may be true, I think he was referring to the slang definition:
2. homer
Someone who shows blind loyalty to a team or organization, typically ignoring any shortcomings or faults they have.
WiiU Lego city
Yes. Wow. Great artdirection... That colours... Very nice. Must look incredible on the Vita screen.Tearaway is a very pretty game
Those Super Mario 3D World shots make me almost want to buy a Wii U but knowing the price and incredible lack of other great games released in the timespan makes me say no, or 'wait for the price drop'
