It's not a difficult game by any means of course. There are some missions that can be tricky. You can fail missions if you aren't paying attention I think or just die over an over again. Some of the platform sections can cause you to redo them if you don't jump/land correctly. That can be a pain when you're really high up. It's a Lego game in the end. It's just a LOT of fun to play. It has a LOT of charm and humor to it. It's open world with a lot of things places to visit and things to find and it's not tied to an existing franchise. I think that allows it to feel different from other Lego games. There are a lot of Nintendo references in the game also. They aren't even listed under the things you can find neither. They're just there in the world and you have to look for them if you want to see them.

lets not get into arguments over what is and isnt next gen, we all have different specifics, for me wiiu is not "next gen" as i prefer to use hardware jumps rather than just new console release and the wiiu just hardware jumped straight into 360/ps3 generation.

A friend and I played CoD for a while to start off today, then moved onto Killzone. We got separated before getting into a match, and all I hear through the headset was: "Shit, man. Wtf, shit this is so fucking good looking. Oh my god, you need to see this... oh, oh man..."

1) The Wii U is a next gen system by objective metrics.
2) Even if the above was false, the creator of the thread has already specified that he regards the Wii U as such, and from that point, everyone else's measure(s) of what constitutes "next gen" becomes irrelevant.
If people are so bothered about the Wii U being regarded as a "next gen" system, then why don't they just create a thread exclusively for XO/PS4 screenshots instead of shitting themselves in anger like they're doing here?
This isn't a screenshot and it's not 1080p, but it is 60fps.

Some of these pics are great, I just wish Sony didn't compress your screenshots, it makes some games look a bit blurry.

Idk why you'd come in trolling, Wii U is next gen. Those WiiU games look really good. Especially Pikmin 3, it's a feast for the eyes, totally reversed my opinion of The Wii U.

To all the people who don't consider Wii U next-gen: When both PS4 and Xbox One are out on the market, those will be considered current-gen. PS3 and Xbox 360 will then be considered last-gen. So what does that make Wii U? Last-gen? Don't be silly.
It's in the same position as the original Wii. People are still arguing over semantics for some reason.
That said, in a screenshot thread, I would hope people would stick to posting games that actually look nice. Pikmin, Zelda, and a few other Wii U titles are beautiful...but stuff like Lego City and Wonderful 101 (image quality wise) look awful and don't really fit in this thread, I think. Some of those horribly compressed PS4 images don't look great either.
It feels like I hooked my PC up to my tv.

I'm a PC gamer, and I have a very beefy rig. I can play all the watsits at all the resolutionses, and get all the rateframes. I think Resogun looks better than anything I've seen in a while in terms of pure wow factor. Killzone has it's moments, but it look a smidge better than Crysis 3 and Metro at 1080p with Post AA, mostly due to art. I never really cared for Metro art style, and though I loved Last Light, I still thought the art was a bit lacking. Battlefield has some nice artistic vision, but they do stupid stuff like have an engine capable of Real-time Reflections and not use it, among other things. Killzone has the art and it throws everything out there, including selfshadows, TONS of area lights, and reflections.
Resogun just says, "let's blow shit up and make it look hella good."

There really should be some rules in the OP. Native res only, no compression.
Lots of people gonna need external capture cards then.=pno compression.
Just a small info from me: I use flickr to upload all my Wii U captures. 2 simple reasons:
1. Images are uncompressed.
2. You can organise your pictures in folders.
Just sign up for an account and watch your collection grow. The best thing is, you can look at your gameplay even years from now.

There's a bit of a Halo 4 quality to KZ:SF at times. It's the plastic sheen, and those flares.

So looking at some of the KZ comments is this game a bit like Crysis 3 on pc, really nice looking but the game is a bit boring?
I'm currently viewing the pics on a phone so can't see compression problems.
