For all ten people on Gaf that care about arcade preservation haha. Took six people in multiple countries across two continents to save one more game from the brink of extinction as it barely saw release. But now its safe forever

LIGHT GUUUUUUUUUUN GAMES!

You are doing gods work. Also the dude getting knocked through the wall in the form of a concrete man cutout was top shelf.

Game looks hilarious!

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

Admittedly, I didn't watch the video. Would someone be able to tell me if this game is easy to fully play either with a real lightgun or a wiimote or something?

I've been craving a new lightgun game for a while.

Yes. You can play with anything that is a mouse pointer. So I used GUN4IR

Wow, the graphic style on Cooper's 9 is so fun, I want to check this out!

Lightguns games are one of those things which is important to have at home, but they often have a special design in the cabinet structure which makes them fun to find in the wild while you still can. I think the game I'm thinking of has been dumped, but I saw a lightgun game on a cruise ship i'd never seen before; SEGA Golden Gun. It's apparently only about a decade old, made by some Chinese arm of SEGA, and it had some cool big shiny guns on the cab.

Maybe once we have gun-sensing technology back for modern screens, we'll get some choices to take home a bit of the style of the physical units themselves.

BTW what happened to the HNG64 protos dumps?
Proto. Singular. Wish I had more than one haha

It's just sitting here waiting for me to finish. It's such a garbage task. 96 flash rom chips on a custom connector. I can't pull all 96 so I've been reverse engineering the pinout on the edge connectors. Then I've got to make a mating part as I can't find the female part online antwhere

A few people have offered to help but they have wanted to keep the game itself in return. Obv that's not something I am into. But it's sitting in my office and I'll get it done eventually. Just much more time consuming than a hard drive / couple of socketed roms kind of board
