cause I don't see us Americans getting this anytime soon(translations take time and all), and if it doesn't show its face at E3, I'm going to be extremely worried.

ooooh. im not even going to touch that one with the cynicism-pole. :lol

The FF Origins port to GBA is scarily good. After running this baby again on my GBA i hav to say Square *really* slacked on FFiv's port.
I believe TOSE handled the majority of coding for both ports. They actually handheld the WSC originals and PSone ports too.

I've been playing Final Fantasy I & II on the GBA lately and my God, the sound qualitiy is absolutely superb for the handheld. Bring on FFVI, the GBA can handle the music adequately if I & II are any indication.

I & II, originating on the NES, are not any indication.

I'd like to see them get pushed to the DS, especially 6. I didn't get far into 5 and see no reason as to why I should bother with it ever again, awesome job system or not.

Eh, what's so lacking on FFIVa?

Yeah, and there sound has been completely redone and sounds stunning. They are an indication that FFVI can be done justice in the audio department.

The music on FF1+2 Advance were taken from the PS versions. They had something to go back on for their 'improvement'. 5 and 6 haven't.

Really, 5 and 6 seem like a toss-up right now; they could wind up really good or be crap.

Other than a slightly annoying bug in battle and slightly inferior sound, not much really. I thought they did a good job porting it over.

Refer to that other topic where you asked and people told you, and you said you'd stay away, then you get the game anyway! In one ear and out the other again? :/

I conclude that TOSE makes every single video game, ever. Every game I play seems to be by them.

When did I say this?

so what if the GBA sales are down? it still has a HUGE userbase, and even if DS has stole the spotlight it's backwards compatiblity could only help

in the worst case scenerio they'd just port it to the DS exclusively

Oh, Square, for the love of Pete, please push FFVI to the DS! I've seen what you did with FFIII and I can't believe for a second you'd put a much better game on a much worse platform. PLEASE! AWESOME LOOKING DS GRAPHICS FTW!!!

Just release the whole damn series (DQI-VII) on the DS. :-D

...But, I'd still shit my pants over IV-VI :)

Well, the I-III ports for the GBC are quite nice. It's not as if the NES versions of the series are known for their music like the Squaresoft SNES games are.

Then again, being GBC games, they aren't playable on the DS like the GBA. Maybe they could release a collection like the Phantasy Star one.
