HACKS AT Bloomberg have named Microsoft as one of the possible targets for take over by aggressive Chinese companies.
Apparently the purchase of IBMs PC section by Lenovo group was just a taste of what Bloomberg is saying is China's desire for Western brand names.
The article claims that by acquiring household names, China wants to boost global sales and distribution capabilities. Because brands take time to build, it's logical for companies like Lenovo, CNOOC and Haier to look for quick entry points into the US, it says.
Already Universal Studios and Pebble Beach are being considered, but Microsoft?
