• Crimson Desert on PS5 and PS5 Pro offers three display modes: Quality, Balanced, and Performance.
• Quality mode offers higher settings for lighting, level of detail, texturing, vegetation, and water quality.
• The PS5 applies more significant setting reductions in Performance Mode compared to the PS5 Pro.
• The biggest difference lies in Ray-Tracing lighting. The PS5 makes a considerable cutback in this area in Performance Mode.
• PSSR still has room for improvement with this game on the PS5 Pro, producing a slightly washed-out image compared to the PS5 at times.
• As for performance, I'm pleasantly surprised. The PS5 can reach peaks of approximately 80 fps in Performance Mode, while the PS5 Pro ranges between 90–100 fps.
• The Blackspace Engine shows very good optimization on both consoles. Pearl Abyss has done a great job.

I think you can ignore their resolution metrics but they capture high quality footage and fps numbers should be correct.

Not so sure about their fps, I think that's one of the reasons they were banned. They use TRDROP, which hasn't been updated since 2022.

I never knew the channel is banned lol. I found their performance videos informative. Ain't no way they are illegitimate and then have 700k+ subs right?

I've only played the opening, but when you turn off v-sync it unlocks the frame rate and even on Quality it was getting around 60fps(my TV has a frame rate counter, PS5 Pro). I'm sure that will fluctuate later on.

Yeah that's why I was saying devs chart is conservative. When turning off Vsync I was able to get ~40s in quality mode. I was only in the prologue and never able to hit 60 tho.

You uncheck vsync and its unlocked framerate. VRR would be 60 majority of the time.

Can confirm this does 4k 120 instead of 144. However, I also have two other OLEDS, CX, and G3. I have my second pro hooked up to the G3 and one hooked up to the 48 inch B5. Both are played in dark rooms. In dark rooms, they are both close enough that money should be saved by buying the B5. If you are in a bright room the G or even C series are better.
