Crysis 3 Remastered Is Being Teased

Over on the official Crysis Twitter account recently, a new teaser appeared, this time for what looks to be a remaster of Crysis 3. Much like last time, the initial post in question showed an image from the third installment in the franchise alongside the eyes emoji. In the replies to this tweet, Crytek seemed to spell things out even more clearly and simply responded by saying, "3".

If they add PBR, RT and some higher rez texture than this game will be a showcase. Even in its current state it looks incredible for a old game, and looked beter than most last gen games. But maybe its a teaser for Cryssi 4 because last week was 2 now 3. Maybe they are teasing something?

Crysis 3 was my favorite game in the series. As Turk said, adding PBR, better textures, higher geometry and maybe even Raytracing this would definately revival or even beat modern games graphically. It's still such a looker.

It's just a console re-release, nothing to be hyped about. The changes will be even more minimal than with the first remaster.

To this day it has the most advanced physics and world interaction, hence it's one of the best sandbox experiences evers. But sadly that was the first game, the later installments took a huge downgrade in those aspects.

Crysis 1 Remaster did give you the option to use Vulkan API. If that is included, I'd be up for it.

Vulkan > DX.
