Nice find, thank you for posting :)

I've read rumours that Crytek is making a "futuristic action spectacle" for PC. Maybe that one is called Crysis...

Their next game is going to be on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. The PS3 will have a custom Crytek 2.0 engine.

Yes, I also follow the doings of Crytek very eagerly and I do know that info.

Here's some (totally unofficial) info/rumours about that next-gen CryENGINE demonstration and beyond:

Yes, definitely a new PC. 64 Bit Windows and a suitable processor will be required, plus on top of that a DirectX 10 compatible graphics card and suitable hardware.

But that's still a long ways off... The tech demo isn't an example of a possible game. It's just an example of what CryEngine2 is capable of. You can still get a lot out of it, but for a Windows Vista 64 Bit and DirectX 10 presentation it should be more than sufficient ;)

You'll have to keep in mind that the hardware and drivers are still in the beta phase.

A lot will be coming our way. Here's a little tip: console owners (Xbox 360, PS3) will not be excluded by Crytek ;)

PC users can look forward to a "futuristic" action spectacle.

But all of that later... much later.

I hate posting unofficial stuff but that above bit comes from FarCry HQ mod, so maybe there's some truth in there, who knows...
