Played for a couple of hours now...
... in the character creator, lmao. I did the first little intro section for Street Kid and it looks and runs fine on my PS4 Pro (with an SSD installed). Probably gonna spend another few hours just trying to find a sensitivity setup that I like.
Nice to see women are still called Karen in the future

Yeah for large open world games it's infeasible to not expect some fairly major bugs. That's just due to the nature of how much QA any company could reasonably afford. You have hundreds of testers at most, not millions, so when your complex game gets released stuff will get found.
But CDPR absolutely released this game with loads of obvious bugs that they surely found. That's the real difference.
It's to make the Christmas season gift rush...
Personally.. I'm just gonna wait to play it, and it doesn't bother me that much. I got too much going on in my life to bitch about a company trying to make money off of a product they absolutely will fix, and probably fairly quickly.

The defense force for this game is something else. It's released in a very buggy state, anyone stating otherwise is lying to themselves. If this was a Bethesda or Ubisoft game there would be a dedicated meme thready by now.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't or can't enjoy it despite the bugs, its still an amazing game, but lets be honest here.

Probably because The Witcher is all that CDProjekt had ever made before this and they never quite nailed the combat.
Yeah, I never hated the combat in any of The Witcher games, to be honest. It was fine in W3, but never felt quite "right" to me. Still, I enjoyed it throughout my 100+ hours with the game.
From what I've played of Cyberpunk 2077 thus far, I think they've done a much better job.

combat and movements are not that simple as lets say far cry where its just intuitive simple and quick, here is more like witcher style quirky movement and atacks , they not instant they like with some lag or smt. but game is not fast paced so its fine we can used to it as we did with witcher 3
and if you see small building not high you cant just jump on it climb on top, you dont know how to do that, again remember witcher climbing lol

haven't used a katana yet outside the tutorial but i'm really impressed with how guns play. their first time doing it and they done a great job. cars a bit sensitive but otherwise they done great with that too when all had done before were horses.

I'm not sure how it goes on your side, but it's fine on mine.
If it might help, "tag" is simply outlining the enemies after you release the tab button, it's very subtle. During the scan, they will just show small arrows when tagged. Initially I don't even know what's going on, so it might be that you are confused like me.
I simply know something happens because the interface wrote 4/4 tagged.
Hopefully you can try again and see if that helps.

i've been playing with kb/m and apart from driving it's the best way to play. i tried using my XB1 controller but just doesn't feel right at all. so clunky and navigating the menus sucks ass.

Thank fuck for DLSS otherwise. It's magic how it can make a 2060 run this with everything at high except for RT which is at medium at 1080p and still get acceptable framerates.

If you have a capable PC, definitely don’t hold off simply because people are calling this a buggy mess, it’s a phenomenal piece of art with a few hiccups here and there.

i've been playing for about 10 hours on PC and have had only 3 issues:
1. jackie walked through a closed elevator door (just a silly glitch)
2. quest tracking borked for the kabuki quest (quick reload fixed it).
3. RTX crashes my game (working for LOADS of people)
so yeah i agree it's not serious and there are bugs but definitely would recommend not hesitating getting it on PC. if you're on console then yeah best wait until a few patches are out or even better wait for the 2021 update for PS5/XSX.

Someone must be downloading porn on your internet - I maxed out my connection easily enough. And yes, absolutely download drivers. I had a fucktonne of bugs, got updated drivers for my NVIDIA and the bugs went away.
