Damn can you guys believe Pharell is 40 years old?? Must be drinking the Keanu juice.
I dunno, the beginning two lines threw me off. He sounds so lifeless.Doesn't really matter what you think of Pharell. He sounds great on this.
DEM VOCALS
Hmm, the harmonized part isn't actually that bad. Just that first line or two from Pharrell sounds flat and really awkward.
Agreed.Yeah, when you first hear him it feels a little jarring but it grows on you the more you listen. I've come around to it.
is there a link for that? The Pharrell and the Yessirs(Questlove and Pharrell reworking for live instruments) version of in my mind is one of the most amazing things ever. Damn I love that album. Should have gotten a retail release.
Love it. After listening to it about a dozen times I realized it has the same chord progression as "Around The World". If you move that song's key up two notches and match the tempo to this you could even play the two songs over each other, it sounds great.
God damnit I am so excited.
Pharrell what are you doing, get of this track.
I'm assuming it will be pharell's turn to start sucking their dicks in the next collaborators video.
lol forreal those videos are terrible. daft punk makes catchy music and has some good albums.
this thread and those videos make them out to be gods.
It's a hype thread leading up to a hyped up album... It's like you're purposefully ignoring people's unbridled enjoyment of the music these guys create. Perhaps they are gods. To some people.lol forreal those videos are terrible. daft punk makes catchy music and has some good albums.

"Pharrell linked up with the duo & Nile Rodgers in the studios and placed vocals on three of the albums tracks"
Not sure if this has been mentioned already, but according to Wikipedia:
It is basically just elaborate PR, but it's neat to see legends like Moroder talk about music and disco in general.no i'm aware of excitement. i once knew of that feeling a long time ago.
but those videos just put way too much praise on daft punk. it's like they wrote scripts for their collaborators to read.
who am i kidding. i say this shit about platinum games (gods) all the time anyways....
