:( My condolences man. That's so sad, my condolences. I've been fortunate enough to not have anyone from my family who was close, die any time recently. Since I was 3 and 4 when both my grandparents from my mom's side did so. Other than that I've had a distant cousin and a great grandpa who's time had come. This is just a reminder how thankful I should really be. And again, my condolences to you and your family.

Wow.

It's times like this where it must be hard for you to be in Iraq. I hope you remain safe, and nothing else like this happens in the near future in your family.

My cousin was from my Dad's side and he was the first person to die on that side of my family since I've been alive. That's a long time.

With my uncle it's just one of those things. I just can't explain it. I just know that you need to take care of yourself. I don't know what to say. I'm not broke up about becasue I wasn't close to either of them It's just the proximity at which these things occured.

yeah, I can understand that. I sometimes worry that death could hit one after another in a short span, with as good of fortune as I've had. But for the most part I don't think about it at all. Stuff like this just freaks you out a bit

Deaths in the family can be hard enough to deal with when you are present, much less removed across a continent and an ocean or two. Condolences, tommy.

I had one of my parents and the grandmother I grew up with all die when I was young. Quite a few deaths on my mother's side of the family from cancer as well, all before I was 28. Certainly leaves its mark, and makes you appreciate what death is at a young age. Definately something I would have rather dealt with as an adult.

I'm really sorry, man. Just went through a serious scare with my mom over the holidays, hold on to those who are important to you while you can. That's all I can say.
