So, something very heavy that I ordered with overnight shipping from somewhere was supposed to be delivered today.
Despite it being a beautiful day, and me having errands to do, I was basically trapped inside, as I wanted to be here for when this very heavy item arrived, and FedEx usually doesn't like to leave things with the restaraunt I live above anyway.
Delivery was supposed to occur by 3PM...
2:11 PM
Delivery exception
NEW YORK, NY
Customer not available or business closed
Um... right. Then, 20 minutes later, UPS shows up successfully to deliver something else, and there's no "SORRY WE MISSED YOU" FedEx door tag anywhere.
Conclusion? They either didn't want to lift this very heavy item, or they couldn't find my place, even though UPS can.
At 2:11 PM I was on AIM, chatting, with no music playing anywhere to distract me from the extremely loud front door buzzer.
I call up to complain and get a re-delivery today. "We'll have a supervisor at the station call you back in about an hour."
90 minutes later, no call.
I call back up again, "It's already made it back to the station, we can't send it back out today."

Luckily, the mysterious place I ordered it from's customer service agents are going to call FedEx now and try to get them to redeliver it today.
