"Dark" - Season 3, Netflix show gets first teaser for third season

Has anyone watched the 2nd season and describe his impressions?

I thought the first one was pretty damn good (maybe the ending wasnt that great but well..)

Nice.
Good that they managed to finish filming this before the whole corona thing

I enjoyed season 2 just as much as the first one. All the elements I liked are still there, the characters are still great, the story continues to progress in an intriguing way, it has that nice dark atmosphere and it answers some questions while presenting new ones.

The only thing I didn't quite like was the way S2 ended. It made me slightly worried that they might try to pull a Lost and continue adding elements and mysteries to stretch things out as much as possible (which never ends well). But then again I didn't like how S1 ended and still ended up enjoying S2 a lot.

EDIT: Reading up on it though, it seems like the show will end with S3 so my fears that they'll unnecessarily extend it seem to have been unsubstantiated

So fucking hyped. As convoluted as this show is, I can't get enough of it. Season 1 was so damn intriguing to me. Time to whip out the family trees and investigation board again.

I think it's better than the first since theirs less setup and a whole lot more digging deeper. Second season is mind blowing.

Great show. S2 ending was kinda meh, but so was S1 when they pulled the apocalypse card and it turned out pretty good.

I'll wait and see. :)

Can't wait for the conclusion. This is definitely a good story. Sucks not more people are following. Don't have people to talk about it with. It's been my secret gem.

I just started this three-four days ago. Currently on episode 4 of season 2. I love how I'm kinda watching in "real time". At the beginning of season two there is a note saying that the last cycle begins on June 27th (they really planned ahead with the release date of season 3) and yesterday evening there was talk about how it's only 3 days until the last cycle.

As if the show is constantly reminding me of season 3. It's kinda accidental 4th wall breaking. lol

Anyway, I was always skeptical about the praise, since I know what our shows typically look like, but this here is surprising me in all the good ways. I'm really hooked and I can see myself rewatching it again. It's beautifully shot and well written. You'd never expect this to be a German show. Glad I started watching at the right time as well, I just picked it up because a friend told me to... didn't even know that season 3 is coming up.

Them actors are so cringey overacting though, if you can actually understand german.

It's hard to watch for me.

For me this is the best show on Netflix and possibly the best ever time travel story (though Primer is also a fantastic example).

Can't wait for season 3 and hopefully they resist the temptation to bring it back or artificially extend it beyond 3 seasons.

Then we can all look forward to the American remake that will stop following the story on about episode 3 and will run for about 9 seasons...

Dark is one of the better Netflix shows I've watched.

It does have an issue with its season ending episodes but both the rest of the seasons themselves so far have been pretty well made and got me hooked.

In many ways it's hitting a lot of the same notes LOST did, albeit with the fat and lack of plan of that show removed.

I do find it a bit funny that in season 2 they went full insane with the main show mechanic, but I guess that was a way to keep everyone in the cast relevant.

Looking forward to season 3 and how they intend to close the story up.

Binged all 3 seasons this week. I could not imagine waiting a full year+ for this whole story. It was good, but I feel like a lot of stuff in the 3rd season was rushed.

Liked it, my spouse not so much.

So, still no good reason for Noah for kill the boys eh? The "trying to portal own kid into the future" is not convincing.`

Just realized this controversial character from TLOU2 reminds me Bartosh:

Just finished watching the series. The first two seasons were really good. Season 3... was not. It seems like it dropped characterization and drama and started to overexplain the plot while not really explain anything until the finale.

I lost count how many times someone said "loop must be kept intact/destroyed" and "this will be the final loop" along other things. I kinda feel like it just lost focus and started jumping from time and place to another.

It was very well acted though for the most part.

Don't regret watching it but 12 Monkeys is still the better time-travel show.

The end is the beginning, the beginning is the end. I quit watching the show when I heard that for the 100th time. It started so good with Season 1 and it just became dull and repetitive.
