Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
"We can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way"
I feel that way whenever I rewatch the memberberries season...I think it would be better if they didn't have Trump in it every week in the same way it was too much Randy when they had Tegrity Farms. These characters can been great in small doses but every week is too much. Most of the episodes this season have been pretty good, I actually think they're better on second viewing.
a man whose never watched all 27 seasons of south park nor the movies nor the TV movies posted this comment.maybe y'all just lost on the rebellious humour that once felt funny against the "establishment left", but now that conservatives have gained cultural and political power it's less funny when its your hypocrisy being exposed. but who can say
I mean, most normal people didn't assume it's a left/right thing and more that a serialized format for the show isn't as entertaining since they've tried it before. As someone who claims to have seen the show since season 1 you will remember the saga of memberberries and tegridyfarms, the covid saga which was definitely better than the prior two also wasn't as funny as say Ginger cow (if you know the episode) which lambasts the MiddleEast in the most hilarious way.ive been watching since season 1, i'm old brother u__u
plenty of topics being covered; media censorship, podcast culture, ai/tech bros, betting apps/labubus, immigration, trump presidency, post-wokeism, epstein, and plenty of others and it's only been like 4 episodes? unclutch ur pearls
Your projecting an awful lotthe fact is that conservatives currently hold all the power, politically and culturally, so you can't make fun of both sides when one side has 0 power and is on deaths door. As SP says quite literally... "WOK IS DEAD!".
like I said satire is all about power dynamics which is why Trump was never covered when everyone was making fun of him. Now that it looks like the US is sliding into authoritarianism with Trump appointing unqualified sycophants into every position of power that he can on top of using federal agencies to go after political opponents, South Park is having a field day, and rightfully so... This is South Park as usual, but yeah, probably not a great time to be watching as a conservative but the goal of satire is to hold up a mirror to the ugliest parts of society, ie greed, corruption, racism, etc, challenge authority, and stand up for the powerless (per mark twain)
Not sure what I am projecting, but also I wouldn't be surprised if someone that can't meet 4th grade grammar expectations may also have problems with vocabularyYour projecting an awful lot
Touched a nerve did INot sure what I am projecting, but also I wouldn't be surprised if someone that can't meet 4th grade grammar expectations may also have problems with vocabulary

Is it just me or is the Trump stuff boring?
It's the same as Saddam with a different skin.
I find myself fast forwarding a lot this season![]()
Jesus christ. Some of you guys need to get out moreI don't think you know what that word means, and it's you're not your.
I assume English isn't your first language.
My man, you came in the thread and just told everyone they hate it because they arent left wing.Ok, so projection is when someone tries to explain to you how things work and because you are not knowledgeable or confident in your own beliefs to contribute or conversate you just accuse them of being insecure. I hope this helped
I do not remember them making fun of Obama or Biden. Funny how Trump is always the exception. The last several "seasons" have not been funny. Sucks to see another show losing it's edge and yet they continue to milk it. Just cancel them already.
Yes, I am crying. I am calling them out. We had 4 years of endless comedy potential, but they go after the orange man like everybody else. More like I am tired of the same old same old. They have jumped on a bandwagon. That is not edgy.
Had some laughs. But it does come across like they were paid to bitch about Trump. Being paid to bitch about Trump does seem like a pretty tough and saturated market though...
I'm not even interested in the show anymore. Sad to see what it has become.
The Trump bits are getting really old. And I do not think they will move on from it. They seem to have lost all creativity.
Nah, I get what he's saying. Reskinning Saddam as Trump was lazy and not funny. And continuing the joke for multiple episodes is tiresome. When they made fun of Trump as Garrison, which they only substituted because they thought Hillary would win, ended up working well enough. The episode they had lebubus or however they're spelled made me think they were finally dropping it, but they jumped right back in halfway into the episode. What a wild ride of posts in a thread for a show you do not care for?

I do pay for Paramount, and I did "watch" it in the background while playing some games. And all they are doing is making fun of Trump on every episode. It is pretty sad. It was kind of funny for the first episode, but it stopped being funny a while ago. I guess I keep watching hoping it is funny again. I guess I should just move on like I did for Simpsons. What a wild ride of posts in a thread for a show you do not care for?

The Trump stuff has been pretty boring unfortunately, the only highlight this episode was Macke telling Trump all of his average American problems and Trump just blowing him off, lol, I found that hilarious.
