Dave Chappelle hosts SNL

Hilarious monologue. The trump stuff was especially funny and him going after Herschel Walker was great

Yeah, he fucking killed it as always. I watched the monologue on Youtube.. because you can't buy the episode yet. Really looking forward to seeing the whole show.

First time in a while that I have literally cringed in real life. His whole bit was a mess.

Idk who approved that whole deranged rant of his, but they might not have a job for long.

Its so funny to see ideologues still trying to either stuff Chappelle into their box do they can claim him, or villifying him for not fitting into that box.

Chappelle himself hasn't changed much. Its everyone else who has.

What the fuck??

I bought the episode on Amazon... and they cut out the opening monologue.

Yes, I can still watch it on YouTube but this is ridiculous.

This may be petty, but I'm going to ask Amazon for a refund of my $2.99!

I thought the monologue was pretty good. He made his point, without being explicit, he was just implicit, and I thought it was pretty clever.

Loved the Show, Monologue was classic Dave.

The Potato Hole skit, Barbershop and Black heaven skits were hilarious.

Didn't care for the House of the Dragon skit, felt like member-berries for the Dave-lite fans.

George Carlin was the GOAT, Dave Chappelle is the current GOAT.

I laughed at some parts of his monologue, I haven't watched the whole thing because I'm kinda tired on SNL.

Back then Jews were not allowed in country clubs, were turned down from work, and even Ivy league schools had to come up with quality standards to block them from entering (because they passed the merit tests). So they had to create their own industry.

i just love how his monologue made many seethe. Dave is the best at tip toeing on the thinnest tight rope. He knows how to get a message out without coming off as obscene or too controversial. And he was spitting nothing but facts.Nothing wrong w acknowledging thing

monologue had some funny bits, but not sure SNL is right avenue to make touchy jokes about jews/trans/etc; just make jokes about kyrie and kanye, no need to talk about how the jews actually run everything lol

barbershop sketch was weird as fuck

regardless chapelle is the only way you'll get me to watch SNL
yeah I dont think you're familiar w Dave man lol
Hes not gonna play it safe and play it according to the platform. Hes gonna say wtf he has and wants to say

The monologue was 15 minutes of pure brilliance. That perfectly placed chain joke :lollipop_fire:

"It shouldn't be this scary to talk about anything, it makes my job incredibly difficult. To be honest with you, I'm getting sick of talking to a crowd like this. I love you to death and I thank you for your support. I hope they don't take anything away from me - whoever they are."

Fantastic monologue, but sadly it goes directly over the heads that need to hear it most. Anyone who finds it "unfunny" or gets any offense from it are the very people he is talking aBout.
