Didnt know he was 69, thought he was 10 years younger.
 
Ugh, really shitty morning waking up to this news. I have listened to a few DB songs and they are great.

Sad to see someone as influential as him go :(

Honestly thinking of the parallels with Warren Zevon, who also released one of the best albums of his career weeks before dying of a long-term illness. Tremendous talents both.
 
So fucked up, this is out of nowhere, especially with his new album. He's my gf's favourite artist of all time, she's sleeping. I don't even know how to tell her.

Well recently a hacker got into several YouTube and Twitch streamers channels and twitters, and none of them were related to another. If a hacker really wanted to put out a hoax he could've gotten into his sons twitter cause he knew it'd amp it up.

So I ask, how reliable are The Hollywood Reporter and Sky News? Cause I'm not taking anything on social media sites as confirmation.
 
I know this Nirvana cover is something weird to think about when I head of his death. But it perfectly encompasses his importance. 25 years ago, when Nirvana was on top of the world Bowie had impacted the scene so goddam much that they felt the need to cover one of his songs during their most high-profile concert. And he did not stop releasing music until his death.

Both are extremely reliable. It's real. This is not in dispute anymore.

I've been a casual, layperson fan of Bowie for years now... I guess it's time to dive more seriously into his work, in tribute.....
