Day in the life of QAnon Karen

her having possible mental issues aside, just the way her guy leaning at the door and not saying a word while she continues her tirade against the police kinda tells you all you need to know about her relationship with her family.

Karen is an anti-white racial slur.
One of the first Karen videos I saw was of an Asian lady blocking a parking space and many cars behind in a crowded parking lot, while waiting for her family to arrive.
Most intelligent people don't associate the term with race. Don't make it be about race please.

I think that's more of a selfish person thing instead of a "Karen" thing. bit of difference there. and I'm half sure the poster you quoted was just being sarcastic... I think.

IMHO a Karen is an entitled lady that considers herself above the code of conduct of everybody else. Judge by yourself.

oh I know which one it is. I've seen that video. hell I've seen that happened IRL here in SoCal. this is more of a culture thing because as anyone who lived in China can tell you, this is the norm over there. and I can hear the Asian ladies speaking Cantonese, so that confirms their origin as from either Hong Kong or Canton (both are China, thou HK of course is in a bit of a strange situation). not an excuse and I hate that shit too, but there's still some difference there. that's more of a FOTB kinda thing than a Karen thing.

I know this is a joke thread, but I wonder if the draw to some of these "movements", like QAnon, is the lack of social organizations. Look at the past and there were groups to be a part of, and people to rely on. I think the lack of clubs and orders is really doing a number on society at large. In a time when young people are chronically lonely and have few close friends, and church attendance has fallen sharply, I don't think it's surprising to see people trying to find places to belong and find community.

I feel the problem is actually too much choices. and people who have some issues would be able to find groups that embolden them much easier now. while in the past if you have issues you seek out the advise of more reputable sources and that's it, now if you go to those sources and don't like the answer/response, you just keep going until you find a group that welcomes you and validates your opinion, no matter how wrong it is.

Poor woman, she just needs help. I hope she gets it, that's no way of living.

I think the movements thing has to do with the overwhelming quantity of information we have access to without the proper critical thinking. We all like to feel smart and when something comes across that makes us feel special, like we understand things better than the rest, it's just too tempting.

Also, the best part of the Internet is everyone gets a voice. The worst part of the Internet is everyone gets a voice.
