Both showcases took place before and after SGF, here are some standout indie games from both, separated by genre:

Dosa Divas: One Last Meal (Turn based RPG with fishing/cooking minigame mechanics and using food to fight)

Relooted (Puzzle heist speed platformer)



Rollick N' Roll (Puzzle game)

Sunlight (Adventure/Puzzle game)



Bits and Bops (Warioware-like)

Snap and Grab (Photography, planning, heist game)

Coming Home (Horror, First person, Resource Management)

Possesors (Sidescrolling Metroidvania action game)

Ratatan (Patapon creators new game sidescroller, musical action)

Tire Boy (Action-Adventure Platformer)

Blow Up: Avenge Humanity (First person shooter, Quake-like)

These three had gameplay deep dives. I'll post them once they are put up on youtube somewhere:

• Thick as Thieves (Warren Spector new multiplayer heist game, gameplay deep dive)
• Sword of the Sea new info (Was inspired by snowboarding games, has a trick system and platforming challenge)

BALL x PIT

Description:

BALL x PIT is a fast-paced fantasy roguelite where heroes must find the balls to plunge deeper into a seemingly bottomless pit of monsters. Develop arcane ammunition and resources in pursuit of treasure, recruiting additional heroes to aid you in your perilous quest.

It seems to be a mix of brick breaker, shmup, roguelite RPG, and townbuilder(for resources to improve stats)
