UPDATE] Xbox 360 may not get its fight on as expected; online retailers list December 14 as new release date. Tecmo expects to make announcement next week.

I also called my local Target to see, they said they didn't have any but Modesto Target had 2 in stock according to their system.

Obviously they were mistaken. Misread a number, confused it for DOA3, whatever. The craigslist guy doesn't have it either.

I'm only aware of one delay, the one where it didn't make launch. I don't think it counts when GameStop and EB just add 7 more days to the previous release until they hear from Tecmo.

I saw a commercial for it the other day. I don't think iv've ever seen a commercial for a game that was "comming soon". Seems like you should run commercials when the game is available. I guess it was aimed to be more of a 360 commercial than DOA4.
