This is for my pal CK who still doesn't think Xbox 360 will be released this year! :lol

Translation:

The director of the TEAM Ninja, Tomonobu Itagaki, revealed with the Japanese magazine Famitsu that Dead gold Alive 4 will be revealed publicly at the time of E3 2005 which will be held from the 18 to next 20 May in Los Angeles. Alas, Mr. Itagaki did not specify on which console the play will turn, but since Xbox 2 would be, according to information's collected, available at the end of the year, that lets predict that Dead gold Alive 4 could be well on the latter. Of course, it is only one assumption.

HMMMM I WONDER WHAT CONSOLE IT WILL BE UNVEILED FOR?!

Jesus Bob, the hard, concrete, and factual evidence I provided to you this afternoon was not enough to sway you? You even have to go as far as to fabricate a story from jeux-france!? How the mighty have fallen!

I'm not going to put up a wager on whether or not it'll actually be out by the end of the year, but shit, we've seen hide nor hair of it and we're already in April!

I'm guessing it will be the first official XBOX 2 title, the lead title to showcase the system's power.

*takes bat and cracks the gizmondo out of this thread*

Obviously it's gonna stay Xbox Xclusive... only thing I care about is Itagaki pushing DOA 4 beyond DOA 2 ... DOA 3 seems more like a simplified version of DOA 2... more moves and bigger stages of course but check the move list... pulling off combo's were jusy PPP->P and what not... very annoying... and with the loose counter system... it was almost retarded.

If anything they should evolve the counter system and give characters style specific counters... Zack should fight more like a kickboxer instead of whatever the hell his style is now...

and a decent storyline / presentation is so necessary... tekken smashes all competition in the presentation area. Tekken actually feels like a tournament... VF & DOA feel like a bunch of characters were put in random locations and were told to fight by some generic announcer for no purpose whatever.

*realistic boob physics!*
FAP! er.. i mean SOLD!

seriously though.. are the physics in doa3/doau realistic? even though the portions maybe not.

Well I can't wait. Next Gen graphics from Team Ninja plus full Xbox Live support = Must own for a console launch. I hope they improve the single player aspect ten fold as it has sucked in previous games in the series. The multiplayer is great though.

Right before E3 last year, I visited Japan and got to interview Tomonobu Itagaki.

I loved the entire trip, and will never forget two of Itagaki's more interesting quotes. (Itagaki understands and speaks English a lot better than he lets on. These two were given to me in English, and thus were undiluted by interpreter-speak.)

"[It's] More hardcore than hardcore!" he proclaimed about Dead or Alive Ultimate.

And about the Xbox' next iteration.

"It is a very proper system." Meaning, of course, he'd seen the preliminary specifications and was well pleased.

I'm interested in seeing what DOA4 looks like graphically, is team ninja still going to make all the characters effectifvly moving action figures with clothes or are they gonna go for a more realistic art design ? I don't honestly care which they go wih,, I'd bet the doll one though, just with 5 times the polygons and 3 times the texture quality with double the environment size...
