There are Warriors Orochi 3 and Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z costumes.Guess I might jump in on this one, after liking DoA5 but skipping Ultimate.
Oh and how about doing some inhouse cross promotion Koei-Tecmo and giving us some Toukiden costumes?
So how is the game? Is it truly worth the $40? Also, this would be my first DOA game since DOA2 Hardcore.
So this is out for 360? How much do the new characters cost?
EDIT: Talking about the DLC, have no interest in buying the full disc version.
So the OP lists 6 pre-order bonuses but only 4 are available? How do you get New Challengers and Encore?

JJD said:Man I'm thinking about grabbing this. The last DOA I played was the DOA 2 on Dreamcast...
Is it up on PSN?
How much the series changed from DOA 2 to now? I know a lot of thing have probably changed I just want to know the big ones.

I was under the impression that DOA was one of the only fighting games that's actually better to play with a gamepad than a stick. Is that not true? I've always wanted to become more knowledgeably on fighting games but I already spent hundreds on an arcade stick I barely used last gen.
Was messing with Bayman today and noticed how he had multi-throws like VF's Aoi and a bunch of Tekken characters. Then went to practice mode to see how to break those multi's and it was the same regardless of what variation of multi Bayman did. As long as I pressed any button when the "combo throw" or whatever indicator in green flashed on the screen my character would break out of Bayman's multi-throw.
I tried to see if it was the same thing with Mila's tackle and it was pretty much the same thing if she did a strike or a grab.
So my question is.... what's the point of the different options in a multi-throw if it's the same break regardless of what choice you make? At least with VF's Aoi you had to guess the direction of the input the Aoi player was doing giving some utility to the multi-throw.
Because I know the tournament standard is gonna be PS4 I've started playing Last Round on pad... so far it's not too difficult because there isn't really anything that intricate to do the basics. Although I do think that if you played Hayabusa it's a recipe for getting a ton of blisters on your thumb practicing izuna drops.
Some questions:
I'm assuming PS3 arcade sticks won't work on the PS4 version?
How much is the PS4 version in the USA?
I have the PS3 version of UDOA5. I can't remember if there are music tracks from old games. Does the PS4 version have any extra music tracks or customization options? I'm specifically hoping tracks from DOA2 might be in the mix, like the Opera House for example.
Thanks in advance!
Anyone having crashes on xbone one? I've had 5 so far.

I beat Arcade mode once on Ps4 and unlocked the DoA3 music. I dunno if DoA2 is also unlockable?

Just finished two complete matches. So at least its better than the last xbox game I bought.Yeah, it just crashed on me, which is why I'm here. This was a waste of 40 bucks. Oh well, I had the dough, but it's pretty underwhelming.
SMAA 1tx, HRAA, hell, even FXAA would have done wonders for this game's IQ. I don't understand the lack of any AA solution at all, it's a last gen game.
Play Core Fighters. You get the "Ninjas" (Hayate, Hayabusa/Ryu, Ayane and Kasumi) for free. See if that tickles your fancy.
On PS4? I dunno, probably GCT'd. PS3 you only need Ultimate to get a patch.
And yeah, they redid Forest but at the same time (unless my memory is fuzzy on playing only 5+ for months while waiting for the PC version of Ultimate/Last Round to hit Steam) some stages got downgraded. The Wrestling Tournament Ring got downgraded in aliasing on PS3.
They better give good graphics options for the PC version. I don't mind forcing AA through my own card's options, but it's annoying when developers don't provide the options themselves
There's perfect timing so that the opponent can't break.
Certain breaks leave you in different positions. On a couple of bayman's he's left at frame advantage, so if they break (or you allow them to), then you can continue your offensive. Rikuto does this a lot.
Unlocked DoA2 music with second clear.
Helena -> Blazed up Melpomene. Good to go.

Interesting, so both Mila's tackle followups and Bayman's multi-throws all have perfect timing options that are unbreakable? Or is it just Bayman?

Also if you want throws to work, you have to get your safe and unsafe moves and you can throw punish.
For example:

Look when you see high counter throw. That throw could not be broken.
Phase 4 is SO much fun.
This does have cross-save right? (In my case, PS3 -> PS4 and vice versa)
Is core fighters up on the PS store yet? I can't seem to find it.
Ugh that sucksJust crashed again. I can't play this game more than 3 stages before it crashes. How does this crap get released?
And yeah, I've rebooted the xbone completely. This is a recommended don't buy until it gets a patch.
