Is the game actually fun to play? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on Steam version soon. The only reason I haven't bought it yet is that I'm not sure I'll actually have fun with it even though I love taking photos of the DOA girls in other DOA games. I don't only want to take photos and do boring shit. I actually enjoy leveling up the girls in DOAXVV and DOAX3's volleyball gameplay and other fun mini-games were fun to play. I'm gonna need a future update with Kasumi and Ayane and the other waifus to make this game not seem like a ripoff to me.

I wouldn't use the word fun to accurately describe it.

It can be enjoyable and relaxing off of the novelty alone

I can't, unfortunately, I'm from Germany. Someone on the Steam Forums gifted it to me. Unless you live in Europe, a Japanese account should be able to gift it and theoretically a Hongkong one should be able to gift it to Europe

No. It's only region locked when it comes to buying. Once you get it gifted to you it becomes like every other game in your library and you can play it just like any other game. The version you get from the helpful guys I sent you even has English text so you can enjoy it with subtitles

I initially planned on getting the game from either PlayAsia or VGP, but it usually takes around 2 weeks with their free international shipping service to ship to Europe. So I went with a local video game shop that imports physical games from Asia. It cost me around the same ballpark (60 EUR, with VAT and shipping included), and I got the game a tad faster.

If you expect something like Xtreme beach volleyball, you will be disappointed... Since it is more limited

Negative points: Only two well-known characters from the DOA universe appear... Marie Rose, Kasumi, or Hitomi aren't there... That undermines the universe's value. The DOA duo is supposed to be Honoka and Marie Rose, and she doesn't appear.

But you can say that they belong to the Ninja Gaiden universe and complement the story... Which is real in practical terms.

yeah the game seems kinda dumb fun. I would get it but maybe sometime in the future
