Meltdowns are fine. What I really don't get are the people who cheer on games. Like people in the Media Create threads posting:

"Yeah go Dissidia go!!!"

I mean, what the hell, I mean it's not like you can encourage a game and who cares if some Square game is selling in Japan.

How is it ANY different than the weekly box office threads on the OT where people are happy/sad to see a movie they like/hate do well.

It's the exact same thing.

We really only get the 500 errors though because anyone on the internet who gives a crap about the NPD all spams GAF since it seems to always come up here 1st, so 90% of the hits we're getting are probably non-members.

I'm not sure what is worse: The enthusiasm of sales-agers or your bitching about a known entity preventing from you reading the OT. OT is pretty much summed up by a picture of lettuce, elitist pricks talking about the following: hot chicks, sports and music, people talking loudly about politics. It's a few hours of one night in the month. Go outside. Oh wait, it's cold as hell. Watch some wrestling or something.
 
Console wars are so like, circa 1999- Who cares anymore? I just saw that NPD thread, its the same as it was the past year. DS and Wii sell a lot. 360 sells some less. And PS3 sells even less. The end.
