I know...I meant to hit the new topic button while in that thread and hit reply on accident. I'd of deleted the post but someone took my editing abilities away :(

An online DS port would be orgasmic. :)
I'm just joking with you, don't worry about.

An online DS port of SS would be godly. Come on SNK, give us a compilatin disc and an online SS DS.

2003 saw the release of Samurai Shodown V. 2004 was Samurai Shodown V Special and SSV for the PS2 in Japan. The next SS game was already announced for Atomiswave, too. :)

-Samurai Shodown for the *DS* :lol Ha ha, NO. Such a game has a much better chance of seeing a PSP release.

-Instead of looking for SS on Gameboy, look for Samurai Spirits 3 on Gameboy. It's much better, although the best choice for portable SS are the Neo-Geo Pocket versions.

-SSV coming for Xbox? F U SNK. Give us SSV Special instead.

I want a new Baseball Stars. Especially now that we know they were all juicing. Instead of just powering up the players, we can have some dude inject them with Incredible Hulk juice right at the plate. That game had the best fielding controls evar.

Yeah it doesn't have live support...or does it? I want a version of SS WITH live support!! And not just SSV either...WE NEED ALL PREVIOUS SS GAMES ON XBOX LIVE FOR KREISSAKE!!!!

Isamu used to beat me down on SSII on kaleria or whatever its called...where oh where have those days gone my sweet little mu-mu?

You'd prolly own me if we played now, since I aint played it in like a year :) I'm getting a new rididculously powerful laptop soon Biff so hopefully we'll be able to duke it out soon. Kaillera's still as shitty as ever from what I hear though :( That's why I want a live version.

Yeah but it wasn't on Live. Plus it would behoove the to release the previous games on the Xstud with live support as well.

Yeah, now that I think about it, SS will more likely hit PSP, but it's still win-win.

I will definetly keep my eyes peeled for Samurai Spirits 3. I have the Neo-Geo Pocket versions of SS and I must say that they are surprisingly well executed. I used to carry my NGPC with me everywhere just to play SS. :lol

Let me pull a "Leguna" and say that I will whip anyone's ass at Samurai Shodown II. BRING IT ON and lose to Wan-Fu and Ukyo. :D

Well, considering that SSV came out for the NEO-GEO in 2003 and then PS2
in 2004, followed by SSV Special for the NEO-GEO in 2004, obviously there was no XBOX LIVE support. :)

You're getting SSV and SNK WANTS YOU TO LIKE IT, BITCH. :lol

They need to make SSV Special. I can't believe they are still going with SSV. Incredibly fucking stupid. :/

Sure, but right now, it's not hitting ANYTHING, so we all lose. All that SNK has announced so far is KOF for PSP, and it's supposed to be a new version of Maximum Impact...MOX MANIAC'S FAVORITE!!! ;)

If you have the NGP SS! games, you don't need the GB versions. Takara did a decent job with SS3, but it's nowhere near as good as the Pocket games are.

I think I could hold my own against you but I would probably buckle under pressure and lose. :lol

Oh god, not that again. Please not that again. Darkstalkers will have to suffice for the moment.

Yeah, I was actually surprised with the quality of the NGP versions of SS. I remember the GB versions and they really can't hold their own against the NGP versions.

Lyte Edge...I guarantee you I would TAP DAT ASS in SSII! My Ukyo, Earthquake, Charlotte, Cham Cham and Genguro are a force and have NO equal! Bring yo squad nigga!!! BRING IT....

Come on SNK release that shit for XBL dawg!

The thread title is wrong. It should be Dear Playmore.... :P

Anyway, If Playmore ever did do a compilation disc of all the SS games then IÂ’d like to see not only an online mode but one with rankings like Halo 2 has because I think this would allow people who are new to the series or just have not played in a long time to enjoy the game much more because you would be facing people the same level as you. One other thing which would make the disc a true gem would be concept art from all the games and having some in-depth interviews with the devs behind the games would truly be a huge bonus for the hardcore fans.

One other thing I donÂ’t understand at all is how people hate on SSVSP just because they think itÂ’s a rehash. Sure itÂ’s not a brand spanking new game but I have to say the style in the game and the overall package is so fucking sweet that IÂ’d rate it as the best game Playmore has made. I know people will disagree and I donÂ’t really care. (Hahaha)

Fighting game fans need to stick together because in world overrun with RPGs, FPS, etc we are a dying breed but with the introduction of online play we might see the mighty fighting game rise once again to takes its rightful place as king of all game genres. Haha, I guess one can dream.

No, "SNK" is fine Isamu. Playmore changed their name to "SNK Playmore" last year (or was it 2003?) so they are once again "SNK." EAT IT HATERS! :lol

I'm up for some SSII over Kaillera or whatever it's called. Never tried it before.

Who wants to bet that they show KOF 2000 at E3 this year? We might even see Metal Slug 3!!!

Seriously, why do they even spend the money for a booth at E3 if all they ever show is old arcade games?

Isamu is very, very good at SS. I have to hand it to him. I got more wins over losses with everyone I played against SSII online, some guys I swept clean. Isamu would beat me like 15 or 16 in a row at times though, he knows alll the ins and outs of his characters. Especially that little bitch Nicotine, fucking anti air machine. Even though I'd rather be better with Wan Fu or a few others, my best guy was probably Haohmaru. I had allot of fun using him.

It would be great if this game was live enabled, because playing it online over kalleria or whatever you call it is hella fun.

Props mang!

I will be emailing SNK letting them know we NEED this game for XBL! But V should help fill the void for now...
