The beach is full. The game couldn’t handle it you monsterI just incinerated a whole bunch of bodies then the game crashed. Hard crash to report screen. What happened? Too many beaches?
Just playing around in post game. Holy crap these pizza missions are like the toughest! Delivery from Timefall Farm and you have to carry the champagne by hand. There are a number of MULES along the way. Dang I’ve tried this 3 or 4 times by now LOL
That is weird, i have way more than 2so ive got a problem, i only have 1 floating carrier, and whenever i try to fabricate any, it says i already have the maximum. i checked my private locker and it's not in there. what the heck? i used to have two, and i got rid of one somewhere, and i figured i could just make a new one. so right now i'm stuck with only 1! anyone ever run into this?
yeah i never figured it out. i think i have some in a private locker somewhere. weird.
on the plus side, the lack of PLs has made me start relying more on ziplines. dang i totally overlooked these while playing the main game. ziplines rule SO HARD
It's not very difficult in the first place, but if that's your concern, there's a "very easy" difficulty level in addition to easy/normal/hard.If it's not difficult I'll really consider but I don't want to grab a game that I wont complete.
yea its not that dificult. The only annoying part might be your first BT encounters. But its not that many and if you take your time with the encounters you pass them quickly and later in the game it gets alot more easy to just rush true them, kill them or even just get caught or run away from the next part.Want to try this game. I'm in need of a new experience and dont mind challenging myself.
One side loathes this game and one side praises to high heaven.

And further more..Dont do any side missions till much further on if you want to do those. Just get to chapter 3 and traversal wil become much more easy
Indeed. Dunno why so much time just for increase the text size. Was a pain reading email.Update 1.07 is also out.
The increase in text size is such a relief for me!

I guess is because in their dev studio their use monitors instead of television. Also since it is just HUD scaling why was it not in the game all along?
Do they sit right in front of a 65'' display when playtesting?

You know what would be cool? There are these events like Games Done Quick, combining both gaming and fundraising for charity. There might even be community events dedicated to it.
At this point, all I want from this game is a delivery randomizer...
Random origin and destination and a randomized, and fixed, set of conditions.
Conditions would be Chiral Network availability, Chiral storms (as seen in chapter 13), Chiral printer availability, Terrorist presence, Timefall zones, road availability, vehicle presence, different strand structures...
I just want challenge after challenge. The gameplay is just soooo good.
I wouldn't complain if they created mobile enemy units that roam the map, they could even follow your tracks (if they come upon them) to steal your cargo or kill you.
You add that and an ultra hard difficulty for combat, and I could see myself just playing this for a loooong time!
I can't wait to see what modders will do to this game when it comes out for PC. I may have to repurchase it.At this point, all I want from this game is a delivery randomizer...

Taking this further, it’d maybe be fun if you could create ‘orders’ for other players, with these settings? Everyone essentially creating speed and challenge runs for each other, with the most liked getting more prominent placement.
You’d have a heads-up as to all the elements, or at least the difficulty level, which the game could auto-judge, and the rewards would scale with the difficulty.
Since it kind of breaks the immersion of the game, maybe introduce a new story element to explain this, or have it be post-game?
So I've played about 8 hrs of God of War and it feels weird to say this but I'm more bored playing this game than in all my hours of Death Stranding. Everything is good except the actual gameplay which I find repetitive and boring, and I loved the older ones. I just put it on easy to get through it as fast as possible and still get the story (which I'm told is great).
Kojima, like the subtle sound of a snake in the grass, has once again heightened my awareness of the mediocrity in the current AAA games industry. Truly the GOAT.
I agree to an extent, but this GOW is basically a slow moving movie (much like TLOU). The puzzles, which aren't really puzzles, don't add anything to the game and I wish they just left them out. The combat is pretty dull to me. What stands out are the environments, art and sound design, and the general world of the game. That is why I'll finish it.I wouldn't put the new God of War as a prime example of AAA mediocrity, quite the contrary. Death Stranding is an absolute masterpiece though on that we agree, I sure hope its teachings pour down industry wide.
those ones are tougher, i saved them for my endgame. For example the first prepper or the veteran porter?
Don't forget to scan for packages on the way while going to their locations. That helped with finishing locations faster, some far more than others. Is it normal that it takes forever to up the stars for some of these preppers?

Yeah they wear out slowly, but it protects the first layer of packages on your back. Above the first level is still exposed. I think one of the backpack covers is from the Collector.I try to rest where ever i can in private rooms. After that they will write you emails. That helps with progression. But overall it takes like forever.
But i still love the gameplay.
Btw. i saw a cover for my backpack in different colours. Does it protect my delivery? Where can i get it?

Just when I thought I was done with Ep 3 area I find out there's a Veteran Porter. Never gonna finish this thing lol.

GOW is one of my fav games this gen.. I love the Norse Mythology, the combat was so satisfying to me. Now I must say I have only played a few hours of Death Stranding thus far and I'm aware it's a slow burn and meant to pick up quite a few hours in. On a technical level what Kojima has done is nothing short of amazing, the game also legit looks gorgeous. But looking at it as an actual video game and not a form of 'art', it's very mediocre to me. The fun factor for me in Gameplay is a 0. It's too slow for me and the idea of the whole gameplay just delivering cargo A to B is just not for me. It's not a bad game but I'd aggressively argue that it certainly isn't GOAT.So I've played about 8 hrs of God of War (trying to give it a chance again) and it feels weird to say this but I'm more bored playing this game than in all my hours of Death Stranding. I decided to turn down the difficulty to easy, which I never do for any game. Mostly I play on hard, but I actually think it's letting me enjoy the game far more. I'm getting the story faster, and I'm actually feeling like a god of war lol. I am prone to hyperbole and am reconsidering my initial thoughts as I'm getting further into the game. The combat is getting better now that I've got a lot more skills. The only annoyance are the repetitive enemies and fucking Atreus being an annoying twat at times. So far I'd give it an 7.8/10.GOW is one of my fav games this gen.. I love the Norse Mythology, the combat was so satisfying to me. I beat this game and enjoyed it, but damn if I didn't feel misled. I thought Kojima's writing was going to be a lot weirder and challenging than it was. The story doesn't really go anywhere, it just wallows in the metaphors it's been wallowing in since it was announced. I never got a big "A-HA" moment. It's a relaxing game to play but also a very bland one. I enjoyed my time and will be trading it in.
With that said, does anyone have any suggestions for well-written, challenging games that aren't quite on-the-nose with their plot explanations? Spec Ops: The Line comes to mind, Bioshock, Talos Principle, etc.
So does anyone know what the deal was with:
The mask? I mean why was Bridget wearing it? I get that Die Hardman wanted to hide his identity after he faked his death and said he wore it to hide burns as an explanation but I really don't understand why Bridget had it on in the BB lab. Was it purely a plot device so that we didn't notice young Bridget looked just like Amelie?
