Who's going? No way I could miss this. :D

I'm seriously thinking about it, but my Graduate Research Design Final is the next morning at 8am over in Ellensburg. My only other final is on Monday that week, why the hell do I have to wait around until Friday?!? Why?

Oh well, saves me $35 plus however much the service charge is.

Besides, I've seen them all, and it's all about the Arcade Fire that Saturday night.

I really want to see Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, and The Shins. I've actually been DYING to see the Shins, even if it won't be in a club. 35 bucks is a lot of money, but I might have to find a way to make this happen. I'm definitely going to that Arcade Fire show, though. Too bad it's all ages. Boo young people.

I saw Franz Ferdinand at Easy Street Records back in March, got my copy of their CD signed by the whole band. Same deal with Snow Patrol, gotta love free instores. I've seen Modest Mouse a gazillion times since high school, and I've seen The Shins a few times, but damn, that is the sweetest lineup KNDD has (ever) put together since I saw Coldplay and Death Cab at the Paramount for Deck the Hall Ball 2001.

Did you notice that they raised the price on Arcade Fire tickets? I bought mine the day they went on sale, but now seeing how it's KEXP Yule Benefit show, they upped the price to $15 instead of $10.

Awesome, but the thing about Deck The Hall Ball 2004 is that for once at a radio festival, every act is actually a band I like.

Seriously?

Just checked. . .15 at the door and also 15 at the TicketsWest website. That means they'll be like 18.50 total through them. That sucks. All ages AND expensive. Their live show better live up to the hype.

Nice line-up. The Secret Machines are garbage. I'm a noise head, and their stuff is like remedial dance noise. And I don't think either of the guys knows the first thing about properly (or purposely improperly) playing instruments. They suck. Ass. One of my buds had my kind of hyped about them. If you want an example of modern, well-done noise, check out Wolf Eyes.
