Delta Force releases for Xbox Series X|S (and PS5) on August 19th, 2025.

If you're in the US, you can actually go hands on with Delta Force slightly earlier than the above date. Delta Force has an Xbox release time of 7pm PT / 10pm ET on August 18th (which is 3am BST / 4am CEST on August 19th).

That free-to-play launch includes all Delta Force modes too, including its Black Hawk Down-inspired story campaign mode.

am i wrong to be pumped? just jammed on the BF6 beta past 2 weekends. left me thirsting for more! 55 or so days is too long. HOPING delta force is at least good enough to scratch the itch. will be playing on PS5 Pro.

I've had a ton of fun on this game. Really feels like you're at war and people actually play as a team.

Only played the extraction and campaign modes a couple of times. Each mode feels completely different.

So tried on Series X and PS5 Pro

PS5 Pro is crispy clear, Series X not so much and dips in frames

Make sure you turn off crossplay, PC is full of cheaters

This is probably the worst controlling game I have ever played in my life
It's like they didn't tested anything on a controller , feels so janky and heavy
Even after tinkering the settings It just doesn't feel normal

Gave it a try and this game is fucking terrible LMAO.

2042 is leagues ahead of this.

Also quite possibly the worst menu in a game to date.

I actually enjoyed the PC release of this game for a bit. But with 2042 popping off and BF6 on the horizon, there really is very little reason to get back into this.

Agree with both of these posts.
I played roughly 10 hours or so of the game when it first came out on PC and I enjoyed it but it couldn't scratch the Battlefield itch. It always felt like Temu Battlefield.

BUT holy shit does controller feel like absolute garbage.

People shit on 2042 but 2042 has improved a ton and I still play it quite a bit alongside 1 and 4.

I mean for fucks sake did no one tested how it controls ?
I know it's their first game on consoles but maybe delay it ?till they figure out how to tune the controls
there is so much delay and feels so heavy out of the box That I really quit and just uninstalled after first game.
I literally thought my tv was not in gamemode or there is some serious problem with it.
I don't think I've played a worse controlling game in my life.

Killzone 2 fans will love it.

Almost uninstalled it after my first session. Gunplay feels terrible initially and the menus are ridiculous.

Now I got my little GI Joe equipped just how I like him and now I'm gay for Delta Force.

I'm not sure if I'm playing with bots or not, but the opponents just stood still when I was shooting them. Suddenly, I had big scores even though I'm not good at FPS games. In my opinion, the game is just a cheap Chinese copy of BF.

Has anyone here played the campaign yet, and is it worth downloading - or is it somehow related to that silly, colorful operator weapon skin and bow nonsense?

It's a temu version of Battlefield alright. Except all the extra colorful skins for weapons like call of duty. It's fun when you get into the multiplayer though. Can't go wrong with free but you just need a lot of space for it. 100gb for this shitt mann and 20 for the black hawk down campaign

controls feel off for me on console, its kinda floaty or something I can't explain but it feels like a AA Battle Field game.. Tried it for a bit but meh id just rather play BF

The extraction mode seems quite fun. Will stick with it for a while and see how that goes.

The 'Battlefield' mode is average and you are better off with 2042 for that.
