I enjoyed it but only if you have friends to help you

When it first came out it was super hard solo to the point where I didn't enjoy it and I mostly love playing campaigns like this solo, maybe they have tuned it since

I wish they made the campaign more solo friendly, from what I understand even after the last patch (on PC) it's still extremely challenging to play without other people. Plus there's no checkpoints during missions.
