I think they're just editing the movie into TV episodes? Kind of like how they edited the TV episodes into those 3 specials?

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc will feature a re-edited six episodes with new BGM, as well as a never-before-seen Episode 1 featuring Kyojuro Rengoku taking on a new mission on the way to the Mugen Train, for a total of seven episodes. LiSA returns to sing the OP theme “Akeboshi” and the ED theme “Shirogane” for the arc.

Yea so it's just the movie re-edited but with some new stuff at the beginning.

It is a pretty show, that exploded so much in popularity I don't even know why.

Manga is so basic in story and art, that if any other studio had done the adaptation of it, I bet nobody would be talking about it right now in such high regards.
