The Tony Hawk's Project 8 demo put you in a skate park park for like 20 minutes with all moves open to you. I enjoyed it as something to do when I was waiting on my mates to come online. The demo size was pretty small also. I think I knocked way more fun out of it than than I did the actual game.
It also made me wish for a downloadable old school Tony Hawk.
