Than a 197 mb one to download the "app" which than leads you to the destiny screen and that's about 10.97 gb

Keep hammering the PSN store until you get in without the error popping up.

Quickly go down to "Your Downloads" and Destiny Beta will be in there. Quickly press "X" on it and it'll bring you to a page where the "Download" button is highlighted.

Need to do this quickly before the error code for the PSN pops up again.

The actual PSN download is just a shell/client that has to be launched and running in the foreground to do the real download.
(which means I can't start the real download here from work and have it ready later, so the PS4 standby feature is worthless)

My download went from 14 GB to 2 reasonably sized update files.

Although I cannot get past its title screen (PSN network issues), my PS4 is claiming that it is installed. I am wondering if it is re-using data from the Alpha or if the application it downloaded is merely a downloader itself.
