I read your post, raced straight to the top of the page to see the poll (I'd been away for an hour, watching the leaked pilot of Constantine) and saw that Warlock was still pwning. I'm gonna hop right into PVP and put the smack down on all the beta noobs who weren't in the alpha. Because once they get better I won't be able to haha

Im just going to grind my ass off and try to get my character where he was at the end of the alpha, get some awesome weapons and start owning in pvp. I want to play that new (shores of time?) Venus map.

Seriously good time.
I'm going to say no, because Destiny has not shown any connection to a unified service like Bungie.net, only to your PSN/XBL ID. You MAY be able to go from 360 to Bone and PS3 to PS4 (and vice versa) but not cross-company.

I can't wait til next week. I played so much of the alpha. I'm going to try the Titan this time since I played the Warlock before.
I'm still leaning toward Warlock at release. I just really enjoyed that class.
I wish I could have got in on the Ghost edition from amazon. I preordered the Limited for PS4 anyway since I'm a sucker for books, manuals, and steelbooks. Plus it comes with the DLC pass so it was a no brainer.

Not sure what region to do in Australia..I know it makes sense to do EU since we're both PAL...But what if this region locks and picking EU forces me to play with an extra 100-150ms and puts me with mostly russian/german speaking players (this seems to happen on every EU server/region I've ever played in..).

It's got nothing to do with Region-Locking, and everything to do with what store your code will work in. As far as I know there's no region locking in Destiny (feel free to correct me if anyone knows.)
As for the Russians/Germans, that'll be more to do with your timezone and time of day that you play than any region locking. I get that all the time with Payday 2 - if I play during NZ daytime, I get Americans. If I play at night, all I get are Eastern Europeans. Also, in terms of lag, I played the alpha and noticed 0 lag at all. We'll see when the beta comes out, but what I've played was smooth as hell.

Yeah I had no noticeable lag during the alpha, guess I'll just do EU since it's I pre-ordered at EB (Likely switch to digital since I'll be playing this a lot and will be a pain switching discs)

I'm still bummed PS3 people can't play with PS4 (like in FFXIV).
This would've been so awesome.
Hopefully online world won't be too empty for me.
it wasnt empty in the Alpha. I always found others in open areas quite often.
